To apply: Unzip on your current Matrix or Steam installation, overwriting as necessary. Always backup Command.exe, just in case.

Command v1.08 - Build 1706 Release Notes (changes from Build 1676)

ADDED: [Lua] Flight editor buttons
ADDED: [Lua] Added methods to unit wrapper: deployDippingSonar and dropSonobuoy
ADDED: [Lua] Added desiredAltitude and desiredSpeed properties to AU wrapper (Also moved .desiredRoll and .desiredPitch from the SE-wrapper to the normal one)
Includes updated DB description files by CV60 & kgambit.
Includes refreshed official scenarios

TWEAK: Various search-bars now have Watermark Text
TWEAK: #16391: Revise IR signature modifiers based on Mach
TWEAK: Mission status change moved in status evaluation change
TWEAK: The "Set orientation" menu item is now available also in normal-play mode, if the selected unit is a non-fixed facility. (Because it may be used in normal play, it has been moved out of the ScenEdit-only menu and placed under "Hold Position".)
TWEAK: Improvement on altitude/pitch calculation for missiles in BMD shots against diving ballistic targets
TWEAK: On the DB viewer, show operating bands also for ESM sensors
TWEAK: [Lua] Force mission to use flight plans on SE_CreateMissionFlightPlan
TWEAK: By default, the only message types that reset time-accel to 1x are: New (guided) weapon contact, new mine contact, unit lost and special message
TWEAK: [DB viewer] Indicate if a weapon uses the boost-coast model or the constant-propulsion abstraction
TWEAK: Moved some UI elements to better accomodate the name of units with long loadout name
TWEAK: Add link to DB viewer from Unit Sensor window similar to weapons window
TWEAK: Color-code the sensor name column to show it can be linked to DB Viewer
TWEAK: Add double click to call up DB Viewer on both sides of Edit Boats and Edit Aircraft forms (This makes it more user friendly and consistent across these 2 forms)
TWEAK: Added some consistency to Add Sensor, Weapon, Mount (Double-clicking a line will add 1 of the selected item. Clicking on the name of an item will bring up the DB Viewer for that item if possible.)

FIXED: #16764: Labels indicating if a unit is emitting or silent should be displayed ONLY when the unit is selected

FIXED: Mobile radar unit was considered a fixed facility because it was an an aimpoint-type facility
FIXED: #16823: Wingmen aircraft getting "stuck" at WP 2 during strike mission, do not follow WP parameters of subsequent WP's
FIXED: #16826: Unable to assign a new homebase for multiple units/groups
FIXED: In some instances wingmen were separating from the lead
FIXED: #16825: Unable to set chainsaw if all assigned units are the same
FIXED: Wingmen constantly maneuver in formation during ingress, burn fuel at 2x the rate of their leader, and break apart when final waypoints reached
FIXED: #16840: Units unassigned from mission continue to fly towards mission target, ignore new orders (unassigning a group for a mission (in group view mode) was not clearing the plotted course for the units in the group but just for the group itself)
FIXED: Mark LEAD on group composition (This used to be the case and makes it easier to identify the group leader in multiple units)
FIXED: Preserve the group lead on Imports (Else the first unit will default to leader. Some group code was overriding the initial design which was to make the first unit imported as the auto lead of a group.)
FIXED: The "switch to high-performance power plan" code (at startup) would switch down to High-Performance if the system was already at "Ultimate Performance" plan
FIXED: WHen selecting a scenario for loading, the "check for external briefing file via LOADDOC" method was not accounting for a completely empty briefing text
FIXED: Shared contacts always have TN = 0
FIXED: #16829: Ferry missions stop working after 1 flight or aircraft takes off if others aren't ready
FIXED: Datablock of friendly active unit is shown grayed-out
FIXED: Log spam for Weapons that lost datalink connection and should not self-destruct.
FIXED: When an active unit was going inoperative (e.g. aircraft touching down or boat docking to host unit) its speed was not reset to 0
FIXED: Use reference tanker for bingo check while refueling (Otherwise refueling aircraft may disconnect as soon as they reach bingo fuel level)
FIXED: Aircraft that are nearly back to base and have fuel still refuel
FIXED: Aircraft ignore refuel orders when unassigned and w/o course (Also fixed tanker causing an immediate disconnect when tanker has no mission and no plotted course)
FIXED: Tanker stuck mid air during refuelling

I'm confused. Is this a new or corrected beta from the one posted earlier in the week? It's got the same build number.

The previous public release (Build 1676) was the official CMO v1.08 release. This here public beta (Build 1706) is the next release after that, acting as a "hotfix release" for some of the most immediate issues identified in v1.08.

Yes I understand that, but yesterday there was a beta update thread made, and that thread (which had I think 5-6 comments) is gone

On second thought, I think I'm just losing my mind. I think I conflated that non-beta patch thread with this one.

Probably because the beta versions have no digital signatures.

But they are as safe as they can be or my computer would have already exploded :lol:
