Can you get different amounts of ammo, or does every weapon always come with the same ammount depending on what weapon it is?

Its just ive seen posts commenting on other peoples designs about the little ammo in some of their guns.... or maybe I got the wrong end of the stick. oh, I also read about how someone is going to do an upgraded version of some titan, but with more ammo:S

I assume they just mean adding more guns in the 2nd example... and commenting on the choice of weapons in the 1st.

I thought Id better check... dont want to run out of ammo if i dont need to[:)]

ummm --- You should get an option of selecting how many ammo slots you want to add for your weapon. IE, an autocannon 20 can come with either 10, 20, or 30 shells, a srm 8 either 11, 22, or 33 rocket bursts, and so on, depending on how many slots you want to give up (each ammo slot weighs a bit too). If you only have room for one ammo slot, you don't get to choose. If you don't have room for any ammo, you can't install the gun. If you just don't wanna run out, use beams. ;-D

IMHO, if you can't get more than 20 rounds of ammo on the titan you should probably pick a different weapon. Nothing sucks more than having a shiny new titan getting slowly picked apart by a medium laser because you run out of ammunition and your enemy has no armor at all left :)
Well on second thought, it's not the worst -- when your pilot is insta-killed by a called meson shot to the cockpit before you get a chance to fire, now that's just sick. :p
