July 1

Here in the land of beer and hockey most of us are celebrating Canada Day. Pass me anuther cold brewski, eh? [8D]

But I was glad to see that the CBC news carried a brief piece on the memorial ceremony for the Newfoundlanders lost at the Battle of Beaumont Hamel (first day of the Somme). Many sons of the Rock died that day in battle, a particularily heavy loss for such a small population.

Looking forward to this long awaited game. Better be a combat bonus for the Canuck lads, they took Vimy Ridge dont ya know [;)]

Hi!

Actually I believe there is a commonwealth corps which is pretty darn strong in the game.

We Australians, Canadians and New Zealanders, were the shock troops of and the elite of the allied armies in WW1

Australia had there own Corp by Wars end, will this be shown?

Also can we choose our own leaders, and be able to tell those BRits to stuff it when they order us on one of those famous suicide charges without prper support?

Interesting feature! [;)]

Possibly Frank could make it so.

There were some very good Australian Generals, that when were left to plan their offensives achieved far better results. They knew what thtey could and couldnt expect from there troops.
