EIA and localised versions

Post by rodo_benzo »

I suppose there won't be any localised versions of EIA (french for instance). Right ?

Then, my question is whether there is a lot of text to read in EIA-PC or not, which would make the game potentially difficult to play for a non-english speaker ?

I believe Matrix is looking to make a localized version for France! The good news is that a high percentage of our text can be changed without changing the program so the time lag should be minimal. The biggest problems may be the fact that French seems (correct me if I'm wrong) to take abouyt 10-20% more space which could make things a bit complicated as far as making things fit!

Thank you

Wow !! Great news for french speaking people who do not speak english! The question was in fact from one guy on my discussion board benzo.net. I will forward your answer :)

Regarding the extra lengh of french language, I think you are right ... yes probably 10% (I would not however say 20 ...)

Thanks again for this very good news :)
