Loading Supplies and Fuel

Post by dkurtz39 »

Is there a quick way to get a TF to load both supplies and fuel for those supply runs to bases? I mean, I can create a TF with an AK and load supplies, then create another TF with an AK and load fuel, and then combine them into a single TF...but come on! That 5-10 mouse clicks I really shouldn't need to make. Am I missing a control somewhere that does this automatically? Or is the game missing a UI element to do this?

If you have a TK or AO in the TF (along with a lot of AK) and click on "Load Supplies" the tankers will load fuel.

If you want some of the AKs to load fuel, and some to load supplies, you have to make two TFs and then merge them. I suspect there is no other way to handle that. How could the program know that of 15 AKs you want 12 to load supplies and 3 to load fuel?

If you form a TF with a mix of AKs and TKs, you only have to select Load Supplies and it will load both supplies and fuel.

Not perfectly ideal, since the tankers are usually 18K capacity and I often don't want to take that much fuel away from a base. So I have to watch each turn and cancel manually when they have enough loaded.

But thanks for the answers.

It couldn't, obviously. If one needs that specific a breakdown, then obviously merging is the way to go. But a "Load supplies and fuel" command that did a 50-50 job would be useful and players would know what they were getting into when they clicked it.
