Okay, something odd has begun to happen in my scen 15 game. I create a Transport TF that has more than sufficient capacity for the unit I want to move and click on "Load Troops". The flagship loads up with troops and the rest of the TF ignores the troops altogether and only load supplies at the same time that the flagship is loading troops. This is happening to multiple TFs in multiple locations. Screenshot showing one of these cases.
The total load cost of the AUS I Corps was listed as less than 4,000 AP when I started. I've had this happen to three other loadings. Very very odd. (And no, I did not create two TFs and then merge them, the TF was created from scratch with both vessels.)

His point is only one of the AP loaded the troops, when both should have loaded some troops. Meaning if the Japanese sink the single AP with the Unit loaded he may lose said unit.
Hi there,
I had a big, bad surprise.
I loaded a bombergroup consisting of 52 brand new b26 on transport fleet wit h 6 AK (the ohter 6 where empty). the fleet was torped in sight of the australian coast. The sub choosed the one AK with my BG - I lost them all.
So please- if there is space on the ships - please spread the troops !!
I would suggest dividing the air group before loading it so that it loads on three AK's instead of only one.

Twotribes is correct. The issue is one AP loading supplies 1) without even attempting to load troops and 2) before troops have finished loading. I have one TF of seven ships that did the same thing. The flagship loaded a small portion of the unit and the other six ships loaded supplies, leaving the bulk of the unit behind. Since the TF had about 150% of the required sealift capacity and their destination is under threat of attack, this is not a minor issue.

I am trying to deliberately recreate it, but my first attempt failed. Once/If I can do you want the save with specifics emailed to you? I believe I still have the eddress you gave some weeks ago.

Hi, Also if you create a TF and load it and then combine the TF with another. If you recreate the disbanded TF the same turn it might still have the orders from before it was combined. (be loading troops or supplies) It is not actually doing this but you have to tell it to stop before giving it fresh load instructions.
There are times the unit icon remains on the bottom display after the entire unit has boarded a ship. Check the base screen to see if any part is in fact remaining. Sometimes if you click off the base and back the bottom display resets correctly. (The loaded unit no longer appears )
I'm not retreating, I'm attacking in a different direction!
No TF combining is involved. I haven't been doing any combining of transport TFs at all.
I am certain that there are actual elements left behind. I had one convoy leave port like this and clicked on the main portion of the LCU still at the base. It was not a "shell" or redraw ghost.
Now, it might have something to do with forming a new TF with ships from just disbanded TFs. As I said, I am still trying to recreate it. I suspect that it may be a combination of new formed TF from disbanded TF ships AND replenishment that uses less than 1,000 op points. I can't try that right this minute, I have some business to deal with but will see what I can do this evening. (Its just before noon local as I post this.)

Odds are thats your headache. Always make sure ops are 0 before clicking Load (anything). Consider it that the ship is simply not available for the TF. If you want to work past this, do a Cancel Loading then next turn the issue the Load ... again.
Well, I've tried to recreate this bug but haven't been able to. No combination of Op Point usage, disband/reform/create TF, load troops & supplies v. troops only that I have tried can recreate it. Very ... odd.
I will try to keep an eye out for it happening again, but until it does I'm stumped.
