Big disappointment

Post by trump »

Good day!
I am just start playing WITP. And much dissapointed!
I start 15 scen and manage only British control zone (trying to hold Singapure)
Guys (i mean creators team), I kill my holiday only to make list on my British AC squads in detail on something more-less manageble (a mean Excell)!!!!!
Whats the fun to have game with this exciting detalization, and not been able to do something with this, (except spending years by typing ALT-TAB and cliking on various buttons)?
Ok i undestand security propblem with save file and email-games (bla-bla-bla).
But why need to crypt save files for not emale-games? Or simply create small utilite with password support? Or make export insaid game?
I suspect only reason to dont create this - to hide variuos logical bugs, which will became evident if gamers will trace units detail in time progress...[;)]
I swear dont more touch this game until some smart guy do something with it!
But may be this is only my bureaucratic nature?
But what the war without bureaucratic?

Hi, You know how to access airgroup info by using the buttons on the top menu> You can sort by type (fighter, divebomber, level bomber etc) and you can sort by model.
This menu lists number of ready ac damaged ac, reserve ac, experiance, morale fatigue, location and mission

I'm not sure but I think you can find excell versions of units at spooky's fan site.

Well fine, and still i cant do most impotant and interesting - to trace this detail in timeline [:)]
I must each turn spend time by clicking on each airgroup or land unit and write these detail on peace of paper[:)]

Hi, You could do a print screen of airgroup and have that. (save in paint or other graphic program)

Hi, I'm not sure. There are several fan built WITP tools. I posted Spooky's web site link look there. I know the Japanese have been put into Excell files already.

No the problem is not having excel file on turn 1 (which obtained from uncrypted database).
The problem is create excel or text file from ANY TURN. As i undestand, this only possible from save file (which encrypted) or inside game engine.
