Lending Units

Crown of Glory: Europe in the Age of Napoleon, the player controls one of the crowned potentates of Europe in the Napoleonic Era, wielding authority over his nation's military strategy, economic development, diplomatic relations, and social organization. It is a very thorough simulation of the entire Napoleonic Era - spanning from 1799 to 1820, from the dockyards in Lisbon to the frozen wastes of Holy Mother Russia.

Lending Units

Post by Doobious »

As part of a surrender treaty, I had Austria lend me their 1st Army. Once I gained control of my new army I tried to move it out of Austrian territory to use it in a seige, but it will not move. I have tried for 4 turns to move my new army to no avail. It is getting attacked by my Russian enemy, but I cannot move the darn thing at all.

Is this working as intended? Are lended units/armys supposed to be frozen in place like this?

Thanks for any replies.

Try 'n right-click on Austria before choosing "violate neutrality". Hope it's gonna help.

In surrender terms, you should have includued a few months of free passage to let the corps exit the contry. A few months does not cost a lot of points, and so you don't need to violate neutrality, which lowers relations with the country.
