Using Transports

Post by randar23rhenn »

Okay I've been playing the demo and recently ordered the game online, but as I'm waiting for it to arrive I was trying to do a scenario I had thought up with an invasion of England, but for some reason I cant figure out how to use transports. Could I get some help please? :)

Hey Randar! Welcome!

Check out the sticky thread on amphibious assaults at the top of this subforum. It has lots of info on transports. In a nutshell, transports are basically like rail that you can move around on the water. You don't load stuff on them. You'll notice two numbers on them in the water, the first is the strategic movement capacity; the second is the amphibious assault capacity. To do the amph. assault, move transports next to the area you want to assault and make sure the amphibious assault number is at least a five. The more transports in a space, the higher the number, since they are cumulative. Then take a unit and move it into the space you want to assault. It will do strategic movement into the assaulted space.

Hope this helps.
