Artez,

You need to read this post re: shipbuilding.

Thank you! That was a good read.

Basically what I will do when the new turn arrives:

a) Check the submarine program and halt all the unnecessary ships.

b) Definately halt the Shinano and I will accelerate those CVE's talked about in thread.

Never thought about these before but basically those changes will increase my firepower in short and longterm!

That is basically what I need since I need to blockade the Russia from sea too as well as keep China an stalemate.

You don't need any more Hitachi engines.

You will probably run way short of Nakajimas in a few months. I have over 1000 factories in October 42, and it isn't enough.

Tojo
Lily x 2
Dinah x 2
Oscar

I did conduct and airstrike againts Palempang too. Unfortunately Chuck had moved most of his aircraft out. The intel showed that he has now some 16 000 men at Palempang.

The operations have now started againts Southern Philippines. The invasion TF has already left the Manila. I have 2 surface TF covering these operations + Mini KB is in the area.

I'am still receiving my reinforcements at 1/3 strenght! [:(] ...I have increased my armament/vehicle production but it takes time. This is a huge blunder.

Cheers and nice to notice new readers.

Yeah, nice amount of POW but I was hoping that the fortress would have fallen a month sooner.

I'am still a bit overwhelmed on the Japanese side of things and propably have made quite a few mistakes too.

The future objectives are the following:

1) Capture DEI, Borneo and Northern Celebes.
2) Stabilaze Chinese front.
3) Start building up defensive perimeter in Central and Southern Pacific.
4) Invade Russia as soon as possible!!!

...Depending on how things turn out there might be some adjustments or additions to these plans.

Well done aztez!  Although the mines may have degraded by March, remember Singapore is mined at the game's start.  Might be worth sending a minesweeping group as first TF into the port.

Thank you! MSW are included in TF's I have sent into Singapore. It seems that the most of mines are cleared already though.

Chuck will be back at 2nd of September so the game is temporarily on hold.

Btw, you ain't doing too bad on your PBEM vs Cantona!!! [:D]

So far, so good. But my situation in Burma has just become, um, 'interesting', and my worthy opponent is also taking a break until about 14 August. I therefore have a couple of weeks to consider the possible error of my ways... [8|]

Local Yokel: Yeah. I noticed that Allies seem to be making an stand at Burma. Actually this is one of the operational areas where I haven't made up my mind how much forces to commit into battle.

RAF can be pain in the *** [:D] . As for considering error of the ways... just don't since I kind of did that and noticed it is going to drive me mad! [8|][:D] A lot of things should have been done very diffrently from the get go.
