Round 78; while the Hindus are breaking down now, everybody else is pushing me around as if I were Pushy Pusherson himself ...
Northern front: this front is effectively going in two different directions now and will soon be split up. The IX Corps pushes northwest, where it has spotted the city of Mirkbeatle in Hindu hands. The XIV Corps sits idle. The other corps push east. The II Corps will attack Stoneroad next turn. The XIII Corps has cleaned up it’s pocket. The X and IV Corps are holding their line. I may transfer the XIII Corps to the east as well.
Eastern front: the XI Corps is in complete disarray. Further fortifications are erected around Quicksilver in a desperate attempt to hold it. The Twisted Killers attempted to cross the river to the west under the nose of the XV Corps. This corps might be weak, but not like that, Mister! The crossing units were beaten back and isolated.
Southern front: the I Corps is running into problems. It’s far too stretched out and has screaming gaps in it’s frontline. The VII and VIII Corps have seemingly secured Orion for the moment (which means I can sleep well tonight). My biggest worry is the Trinitists gaining a lot of strength at Bluestuff End, which after all is a good position to flank the VII Corps at the moment, and another flanking threat against the VIII Corps’ left wing, put up by the Twisted Killers.
I’m sure to get Stoneroad next round, which would have me control 3 capitols, 6 cities, 5 towns, and 7 villages for a total of 73,500 production points. Mirkbeatle seems to be another sure prey given that I don’t spot any enemies there. That would be another 5,000 points.
