anyone tries Arma II

Its from the makers of operation flashpoint and made in similar fashion. Not sure if the singleplayer is good as in flashpoint though. I own armas but havent played them yet.

Picked up an indie game pack on seam for $5, I also just bought Men of War for $3.74 on Steam. This sale is brutal, it's real easy to nickel and dime yourself to death.

I hadn't used Steam for years and couldn't remember my account name. I did a search in my email archive for "Steam" and located my notice for having purchased Terror From the Deep years ago. My account name was in the email.

would love Borderlands - but a bit expensive at the moment

Borderlands is $10 again today (Encore for the best sellers today). A Diablo FPS with tons of guns. Best game of '09 IMO.

That's due to momentary server overload...

Damn, I wish I had a faster Internet connection to download all these games....downloading 3 Gigs at an avg of 60-70 kb/s sucks. Especially when I know my friend down the street is getting ~700 kb/s.

Steam Support is actually separate from your regular account, and will actually be a separate account on a different site...so it shouldn't matter that you can't access your standard Steam account.

Here's the support site : https://support.steampowered.com/

The sale is going to last about three more hours or until 12 AM Pacific standard time. If you had any games you put off until late then you need to purchase them soon.
There will probably not be another sale this good until their after Christmas sale.

I just picked up Civ IV, Civ IV Colonization, and both expansion packs for 9.99. For a CIV addict like me, this is heaven.
After 16 years, Civ II still has me in it's clutches LOL!!!
Now CIV IV has me in it's evil clutches!

I wasn't able to get Killing Floor, but I was able to get Men of War Gold(Men of War and Red tide expansion) for 8 bucks, and compared to the $34.99 non sale price, it was a steal.I also got an indie called Flotilla and the introvision software pack for $5. Good stuff. If I didn't already have Left 4 Dead 2 I would have gotten that too.

Flotilla's a neat little quick diversion.

My tally : Saints Row 2, Killing Floor, Kane & Lynch Dead Men, Introversion Complete Pack, Puzzle Kingdoms, The Maw, Order of War : Challenge, Red Orchestra, 9th Company : Roots of Terror & Avencast. Total clocked in around $40. [:)]
