Your high-tech super-dooper mega tank destroyer is no more.
Some guys walked up and set fire to it :D
Close by, another bazooka team shoots at another IS-2, both survive this turn. Time to send in the infantry...

A T-44 commander calls in to report they've secured the south sector and are advaning towards their secondary objectives.
More dead GIs, one Jackson up in flames and the crew of another killed as they try to reboard their vehicle.

IS-2s in the north claim another Pershing and are now hunting down that Jumbo still out there. Two more T95s are approaching, but I don't think they'll be much of a problem...

Two trucks are destroyed and damaged, leaving your AT-guns without transport.

Rockets get pounded on some more, just to make sure they're dead. One 203 shell lands right in the middle of an ammo dump, resulting in some spectacular fireworks. Guess I don't have to worry about your arty anymore :D

Got a little careless there, two SU-100 and a 122 lost, trying to take the central hill. Damaged that Jackson hiding behind the crest and destroy a Pershing at point blank.
Looks like the US still has some teeth left, though. Kicking them of that hill in the north is going to be bloody.

You lost one tank at this turn.I'm worried about what will happen in south, need to send one T95 there soon :)
It's possible that you take central VH:s on your next turn, we'll see.
Your turn.

Found your Jumbo. Dang thing's still there...
Lots of casualties near the middle, including that 3" gun. Also finally spotted that Jackson that's been shooting my TDs. Looks like it won't be going anywhere, so expect some arty soon.
One T95 gets its turret damaged by a 37mm round from a Shturmovik. Somehow I don't think they'll be worth the points :)

My reinforcements really arrived at right time, when I very badly need them destroying 3 halftracks and infantry inside them, Zsu-M17, and one SU-122, all was lurking deep behind trying to get my back hexes.
In middle U.S Infantry slays Soviet infatry back down to hill with some casualties.
In north, there comes some T95.s to help lonely Jumbo and destoryed one of your IS-2.Other was hit for no effect.
Your 160mm made some minor ruin among my infantry.
Huh...Feelings are getting hot there in battlefield :)
Your turn.

Turn 13 of 40 and he's already bringing in reinforcements
Well, it does look like you'll need them, but I doubt they'll win you the game. Even though they killed a T-44

The Yankees near the middle pay a steep price for their insolence, three squads are wiped out and one of their halftracks is blown to bits.

Further north another firefight is developing, with Soviet infantry advancing on the remaining US defenders. Looks like your new shipment of Pershings will arrive too late to save them.

It's true that you'll take soon those central hexes, but you must do hard work too if you gonna win this battle :)
In this turn, some minor casualties to both of us.Those ZSU-M17:s are very useful against infantry :(.
I tried to shoot your immobilized T-44 in south but didn't hit.Now there's some Pershings on row in southern hills to you choose which to shoot.
Your turn.

Hard work? Naaah.
Let's see, You have about 1800 points of reinforcements, most of it (at least 3/4) in Pershings (Guessing at least 10, one less now), two more Pershings that've been around since the start of the battle, two 40mm AA, two 3in AT, an immobilized Jackson, three T95s, a Jumbo, a couple (functioning? I recall at least one of them jamming) rocket launchers and another ammodump/carrier plus some inf squads stuck in the north.
I have, ooh, about half my original forces, with most of it capable of destroying any one of you units (Molotov, anyone:) )
A couple of turns more and all you'll have left is a handful of tanks, attacking a combined arms force of at least equal and probably greater strength.
It'll be like one of those training scenarios :D

Anyways,
The central hill is swept clean by a couple ZSUs who claim another four squads. You're absolutely correct regarding the effectiveness of those imported Yankee guns. You should've kept some for your self ;)
One Pershing on the ridge is destroyed, another further back takes out my last mobile T-44.
Up noth, things are pretty quiet, except fo some really determined bikers making yet another assault on one of your T95s. They don't do any damage, but the constant pestering at least keeps the thing busy, buying time for the IS-2s. Those things run out of AP real quick.:

Looks like you have counted very exactly what equipments I have left. And you are very sure that you WIN this battle. And if you really have most part of your troops left, you win this, it's true
.:(
It seems that I have much expensive equipments than Russians have. And those T95s was not good purchase.
At this turn you lost two of those ZSU.s and one immobilised T-44 and both loses some infantry.
Looks like that badly damaged IS-2 in north has go away from that hill where it was decrewed a some time ago.
Your turn.

A little counting, some guesswork and an opponent falling for an old trick (How did you know? I do now ;) )
Judging the rest of you comment, it seems you know a lot less about the size of my force. Maybe it won't be as bad as you think....

But right now your forces in the north are in trouble: One more Pershing destroyed, one T95 immobilized, and another one's gun optics destroyed. You Jumbo has also taken some damage.
That IS-2 will be decloaking behind it in a moment ;)
More infantry killed nearer the Vhexes.

BTW you did indeed bring a lot of expensive equipment. You'd have been better of with more cheap stuff, like bazooka teams and recon jeeps and stuff. Basically, more support for your expensive AFVs.

Your turn

Don't be so glum, you may yet get to prove you the reincarnation of Michael Wittman ;)

Your Jumbo lost its crew, but that T95 is still dangerously accurate at lose range. Scratch one IS-2
IS-2 #2 gets nailed by that @%$@^% immobilized Jackson.
Noticed you got another one up and running again as well...

There's still plenty of time left and if you can keep that howitzer bty online, your Pershings might just force a draw.
Think hard :D

You have now one more halftrack destoyed and some more mens lying dead on the ground.
Spotted one Su-100 in the nearby of central hill, it destroyed my Pershings coaxial gun :(
And in south there's still one Su-122 hiding in the road.I don't got it yet. You are dangerously siege northern VH:s in one direction...wonder how it will develop...
Your turn.

Things are moving along slowly in the north, but I'll push of that hill one way or another.
The rest of the battlefield is quiet for the moment, but expect the sound of exploding Pershings sometime soon.

So, Your plane was finally downed at last turn:) One SU-100 destroyed in nearby of central VH:s and some infantry killed. Russian troops are very heavily pushing forward in north and that doesn't help that my infantry is quite hardly supressed. :(
Your turn, Ivan :)

Nooo, my beautiful plane  :(
Guess I'll have to rely on my scouts on the ground then ;)

lots of kills in the north, 2.5 squads and .30. To top it of a 3inch gun is destroyed by a well placed mortar round.
Near the south VHs two Pershings are immobilized, then destroyed by by some Russian infantry. A third narrowly escapes the same fate.
My SU- doesn't do so well, it almost ran into a Pershing while trying to avoid another. I doubt the crew will live to regret their mistake.

Things are not going very well, nothing special at this turn but if looking for totality, theres about 20 turns still left and my infantry is really in trouble :(.
This isn't my best battles but maybe I can cause some more losses to you before all of my troops are lying dead on the battlefield and communism rules the world :).:o

Well, you can try...

Got saddled with some POWs up north. Destroyed that T95 rolling up to the central VHs. Not much else.
