Yes I think you are right I did get a message but I leave my messages to the last and sometimes I end the turn without answering. Now if I remember rightly your question was when is the best time of year to plant tomatoes. I will answer in full when my next turn comes around.[;)]

Turn to Ders, heavy fighting in Plymouth with heavy losses on both sides but garrison still holds the city.

The size of the map means this game will go on for months. Nature of PBEM. I have a War in the East and Pride of Nations game that have been going on for 8 months and will likely continue for years. This is why I play multiple games at once so I always have something to do lol.

It can take years to depose evil despots. The Second World War lasted over four years. But at the end of it the world was a better place. We had Nuclear weapons and much better tanks and Rock and Roll. [:)]

Rock N Roll > Atomic Energy

At least until such time as they find a way to combine the two things. They tried once, and thats why we have Iron Maiden.

I think besides Ders absence and my own, ive done a turn every 2 days. Were almost on turn 20 and we're about 50 days into the game. Taking out the 4-5 days each for the two absences were just about on pace for a turn being completed every 2 days.

Maybe you're not so peaceloving after all, since your navy shoots down harmless tourist planes on sightseeing flights. [:'(]
(Even though the impact on the game is very very very small I consider this a bug.)

Yeah you cant fly recon planes over ships, theyll still shoot em down.

Figured that out recently in another game. Pretty embarrassing lol.

Turn to Ders.

I think that since foreign towns dont produce supply any invasion of islands with large scale forces will be almost impossible.
