In the above shot we can see a few things unhistorical. First are the handful of surrounded PzIV's holding out round after round at Banneville. That happens in TOAW, we all have to deal with it as best we can. Second are the Canadian (green) tanks that have crossed the Orne River on a treadway bridge, before the engineers have completed a Bailey Bridge. This also happens in TOAW, no way to regulate it. But as you noted in an earlier post, I've made it not as easy to cross as it could be.

Third and most important, the Brits have broke thru in the southeast direction. This did not happen historically because they missed the opportunity. It's a mistake I won't go into, but I've got a couple of books on the subject. Historically they kept pounding at Bourguebus Ridge, the strongest position in the area, loaded with 88's, Panthers and Tigers.

I've lost my train of thought ... I appreciate the AAR's tremendously and all the comments that are made and might be made.

...And maybe you're artillery management isn't quite what it should be. I'm not sure because you haven't really said anything about it.
I found that the arty tubes on the far left of the map fire so seldom that I could leave all three on MIN losses and 'T' status. The rest of
them I found I had to 'rotate' active and rest so that at least one could support fire missions. For the last three turns I put all the arty I
had on 'T' and left them that way to the end of the game.

Badland terrain in the river hexes would prevent motorized crossings. The engineers will have to be foot movement units or there will never be a bridge [:D]
As your CAN infantry is of foot movement type these can cross (luckily you didn't 'hard-code' motorization).

Ok, you're on it then. I figured you were but had to mention it. [:)]

Yeah, did that for Autumn Fog, not sure why not for this one. Lost all my notes in the great computer crash of 2012. Never backed up anything on this scenario, the only reason I have it is because it was on my website. I guess that site is good for something. But thanks, I might make that change.
