Hi, Is someone going to get mad at me for commanding Italy two games in a row?

OK I'll use Bulgaria for 2nd choice

Whoops!

Post by Belisarius »

Whoo hey.... let's back that up a little... seems like very few went with "minor" countries as their second pick.

I have no intention of playing Finland in '45 vs. the U.S. army.. :p

I thought we picked those second countries to have a feel for the small OOB nations? If not, I'd like to swap Finland for USSR.

Is that OK with everyone?

Nothing as such. :) I just felt that I after all may not be up to the challenge of commanding them vs. "first rate" armies in the late war years...

A Flood of Blue

Post by Buzzard45 »

Has anyone looked closely at the list?

We are going to have almost all Blue against Blue in every match in Rounds 2 and 4. :o :o

Well, I guess that puts everyone on the same level. Gonna be one heck of a civil war.

I dunno :p For this our first battle, I have no trouble taking on the U.S. army using the Finns.

It'd be nice to have things clarified for later events, though...

Ok, there are no minor countries. You just pick 2 countries you'd like to play throughout the game.

I'll play Sandman20 with the Finns in the first round, thereafter I'll have USSR as my second pick. :p

Mad props to Mogami for his choice of armies. Brave man!

Ay, Mogami is indeed a brave man. Unless you're playing with country characteristics off. That should even up things a little.

Otherwise it's just a matter of being able to catch his fleeing Italians :)

I'll mediate. State your disagreement.
