RE: Off to see the lizard.....
There is a really nasty and unsubstantiated rumor that the first turn has been sent. Steve, can you confirm or deny, or do you plead the Fifth?

Turn has arrived. I've started working on it. I'll need a couple of days. And I'll brief you all once I return it.

Couldn't find the phrase, but I found the lizard:ORIGINAL: Canoerebel
I'm 99% sure there was an old B.C. comic that included the phrase "off to see the lizard," but I haven't been able to find it.

OK, the game's afoot! (As opposed to it's usual crawl!) [:D][:D]
If one of you fine gentleman (or even those nasty rotten creeps![:D] [:D]) would review with me how to do screen captures , I'll try to grab some from the 1st real turn. [:)][:)]

Alt-TAB captures your screen
Open Paint, Photoshop or other imaging software. Paste image. Trim as necessary. Save it to your Dropbox or other file folder for ease of purpose.
For the text combat reports, these can be imported verbatim from your WiTP:AE save files: "Combat Report.txt" Open this up for the respective day in question, cut and paste. The Cut and pasted .txt text can be directly imported into the Matrix forum post, you needn't change it further.
Here's a screenshot of my World of Warships account. Love the Jap DDs. [8D]

RE: Off to see the lizard.....
Correction: ALT-TAB switches the screen to the next program you have open or the desktop. It captures nothing. Use the PRT SCR key to the right of the F12 key. Don't worry about the SYS REQ on the same key - it is not active.
PRT SCR puts a copy of your screen image on the clipboard. Do not copy or cut anything else to the clipboard until you have pasted your image in a picture editing program and saved it. Save as JPG. Only JPG and GIF images are supported by the board.
There is a limit to the number of bytes the board will allow, so you may have to shrink the size or crop out unneeded edges of the image to get the file size small enough to post.
Once the image is ready, start your post with your text in it, then check the box at the bottom that says "Embed Picture in Post". Then click on the text "Click here to upload!". Browse your way to where your picture file is stored. Select it and choose "Open". This does not open the file for viewing, but opens the door for the file to transfer to the board. After that, keep clicking OK until the message is posted and the image appears in the post.

Yes. Thanks for the correction. I don't know why I said Alt-Tab when I very much meant Alt-PRT SC. Sorry. [:(]

At the rate this PBEM is going , I'll probably be ending this AAR soon. In ten years of play variations of this game I've never seen or experience such a Charlie Foxtrot. [:(][:(]
