Good evening my dear fellow,

Nordic 1

Well, that's an unanticipated turn of events; losing the initiative, still going first and getting good weather.

Think I might try a combined move. DoW Belgium, fly FTR to North Sea 2-box, react in the NAV if Allies initiate combat, risk a CA and INF Div in the North Sea 4-box for the invasion of Antwerp (Allies are only in the 2-box) and take it from there.

What were the Italians and Japanese thinking of contributing to the show?

Good evening sir. I'll be honest and say I've absolutely no idea, what? However, I intend to have a look at Nordic 1 this evening after my trip to Manchester (and environs) between 7:30 and 10pm [:)].

Trust that timescale suits?

Sounds splendid.

Look forward with keen anticipation to what you might throw together.

Hope you have a good time with the Mancunians. Were you gracing anything interesting with your presence?

It's my regular Friday trip to Weatherfield 7:30-8:00 and 8:30 to 9:00, followed by a nip to Manchester itself between 9:00 and 10:00. I also visit Weatherfield on Mondays and Wednesdays [:)]

I've been a Corrie fan since the early 70's, watching with my mum - and now I watch it with my little warspite [:)]

Well the Japanese are easy. They will be doing a land. I will work out some orders for them now.

Italy - did you ever let me know what you can spare oil and resource wise? I'm still inclined to stay the hell out and await developments. Do you have any burning desire to see Italy in the war at present?

Something along the lines of 1 oil and 3 resources.

I'm happy for the Italians to keep pinning French units on the Italian border, just in case of a DoW.

Once the French campaign is done, I'm wondering how Italy occupying Yugoslavia (with German assistance) sounds to Il Duce Supremo? That way, Italy gets resources of her own and guards the southern flank. Any other ideas for how to create some noise and consequent diversion of the Allied forces?

Let me know of any Italian naval moves. I'll run the impulse up to and including German land movement and send it to you for the rest. I can't be more specific as events will depend on how the Belgium's deploy but I'll send the land combat instructions with the file.

Okay then, so unless those nasty, power-hungry Allied B*****s attack little ol' me, I shall remain in watching brief mode. I will have a look at the Balkans.

Well our navies appear to be taking a beating in both games! [X(]

What do you want to do about the Eastern Med. I am happy to go with your decision - the French losing the transport is pretty bad to say the least so its about not losing too much with the CW during the fall of France I think.

What a time to make a ''successful' search roll.

The French TRANS would be repairable. Not sure what effect being damaged has on the CV internment option.

Think I'll call abort and we'll have to hope turn doesn't end so you can replace the CP's. Where do you want to send them? I suggest Syria as otherwise they may be intercepted. Possibly risks not being able to reorganise if turn ends.

Yes, I believe it important when facing turns like this, that one must maintain one's decorum, remembering one's British and above all to ensure that one doesn't show oneself up in front of Johnny Foreigner by going to pieces and blubbing or turning into a homicidal axe murderer, what?

I guess we have to stick around? The French should take a loss.
