Middle East:

August 19th 1916

Shadow Front: Sweden feels that their best interest is with the CP (+9%). The Entente continue to pour resources in to research, Germany simply has more and better then anything they can field (Germany L1 Sonar).

Western Front:

France - All units break contact with German IC, a true 'no mans land'; German AT is pound units to death with to strength for the counter attack.

Italy - One AH IC is destroyed as it close's with IT units... the first town in the North Alps is taken by Italy.

Eastern Front:

Poland - Russia retreats from the sack around Breast-Litousk, a lot of units are in bad shape... raw recruits fill bunks.

Been a busy two weeks, will try to get a few good posts/turns in each week till spring.

September 2nd 1916

Shadow Front: Norway continues to slide closer to the Central Powers, the combination of UK sinking 100% of her ore shipments and persuasion by GE diplomats is effective (44%). National Moral for each country continues to fall - UK 85 - Fr 66 - IT 87 - Ru 59 - GE 64 - AH 58 - OE 41.

Western Front:

France - Germany opens another assault along the Swiss border, five IC supported by 2 (!!) AT destroy one Fr IC and reduce the Fr AT to str 3. Troops advance up to the Fortress Belfort. France counter attacks, removing one IC in front of the fortress and sneaking one IC into contact with the Gr HQ... reduced to str 5. Two other GE IC are badly damaged as well. Fr shifts several units to the new battle zone while UK moves all reserves into trench's vacated by France.

Italy - Combined assault by It and Fr units take a second town, Bruneck, in the Alps, AH DT destoryed. It now has a continues line with AH forces. AH count stroke is expected in the center of the line.

North Sea - The Grand fleet now raids ore shipments and is using this as gunnery training (ships are slowly moving to one star experience). Both the Iceland and North Sea blockade is held at 100%.

Eastern Front:

Baltic States - Germany is making a slow advance now on Vilna, if this city falls all of Russia will open up to invasion.... Russia must hold this area for some time. Two Ru IC push back GE Cav unit scouting over the River, units south of Vilna continue to pull back.

Russian Center - GE entrenches with only one IC in contact with Ru units, Russia reinforces and digs holes but this zone has a lot of reserves.... some will rail out soon.

Galicia - AH rails a week IC into Klusenberg, Russia assaults the troops as they get off the trains for heavy casualties but the town remains in AH hands.

Baltic Sea - GE is starting to blocade Russian ports and slowly reduce her navy..... the decision is made to recall all raiders and reinforce the navy for a final stand as a complete fleet.

Italian Front -

General Brusali is hung for lack of progress, Diaz is given command of northern army HQ.

Middle East:

Palestine - UK continues to raid weak OE units and reinforce her own damaged ones. Arab raiders are finding all of the city's south of Damascus empty and easy take control. UK SF land to the north and cut off rail service to the Levite, reducing supply of all OE units in that area.

Iraq - OE forces pull back to the outskirts of Baghdad, UK troops rest up and gather around the HQ for resupply.

Libya - UK and Greek troops start reducing the strength of weak units on the Egyptian border.

Caucasus - After weeks of heavy bomber raids the OE IC in Erzerum is easily destroyed and the city falls into Russian hands.

Balkan Front:

Greece - Little movement of units for some time now, entente are slowly reinforcing as MMPs allow.

Adriatic - The French navy moves back into this sea, assisted by IT recon bombers scouting ahead to ensure no traps are in the narrow waters.

Dardanelles - Italian navy continues to scout OE coastal city's and blockade the straights.



Palestine -

September 16th 1916

Western Front:

France - Germany and France clash heavily between Nancy and Belfort, both losing one IC and moderate casualty's to several other units, when the dust settles the lines remain the same. UK revels the first TANK unit and attacks SE of Lille, 9 AT shell barrages, 3 bombing runs and at blitz (movement) attack by the 1st Tank shatters 1 GE IC.

Italy - Both sides reinforce and dig in after the battle in the MTs.

Atlantic - Two GE subs raiding North American supply lines, UK dispatch's escort groups that were in port upgrading or on the Iceland blockade line. The Grand Fleet maintains its hold on the North Sea blockade, and continues to use Norway shipments and gunnery practice. USA convoys are reduced to 13%, Russian increased to 13%.

Eastern Front:

Baltic States - Germany swings north of Vilna destroying a Ru IC, also continues to march along the Minsk rail line. Scattered combat as GE & Ru units make and break contact.

Southern Russia - AH starts putting heavy pressure on Russian units in Galicia, if Romania doesn't join soon the Jablonitsa Pass will be closed. The IC on guard duty at Odessa retreat to a town for supply.

Baltic - The High Seas fleet continues to scout the coastline of Russian Baltic holding.

Middle East:

Iraq/Libya/Palestine - Scattered combat, too much space for too few units for constant major assaults. UK moves a AT outside of Damascus..... soon this city too will fall.

Caucasus - Russia pounds weak Ottoman units where they are in contact.... Ru units start to pull back.... The Motherland needs help (Vilna).

Balkan Front:

Greece - Minor movement as all units gather near the Serbian HQ for supply, Greek, Serbian, French, UK.... a true mix of nationality's.

Adriatic - French carriers with Italian recon bombers scout for openings on the AH coastline.... they find none and receive some damage from defending fighter groups.

October 7th 1916 - MUD, MUD everywhere! A fairly quiet turn overall... posting SS of areas that normally don't get seen but are combat zones during these 'slow' times.

Western Front:

France - All three combatant lick their wounds and prepare for the next assault. Germany, backed by ALOT of shelling destroyers' one Fr IC while shifting fresh troops forward on the Swiss Boarder. UK prepares for the nest TANK attack, entrenching an IC in the old position and reinforcing the air units that were damaged.

Italy - All quiet, minor raids that went bad in the NE so other attacks are called off.

Atlantic - Fleets shift, three subs now raiding supply lines from North America.

Eastern Front: MUD!

Baltic States - Germany continues pushing the double enveloping move around Vilna but its a big area, Russia responds by railing in a top line HQ and deploys a few more ICs. The army retreating along the Minsk rail line hits back and holds their ground for the first time in weeks.

Southern Russia - Minor combat where units are in contact..... the Jablonitsa Pass is about to be blocked by AH units.

Baltic Sea - Russian Navy is grouping up, aid for UK is being put into naval squadrons.

Balkan Front:

Greece - Little movement, all Serbian units are upgraded to IW 1.

Adriatic - French Fleet scout the AH coastline near Trieste.

Dardanelles - Italian navy sends half her fleet for resupply.

Middle East:

Palestine - UK assaults Damascus, 6 AT barrages, 4 IC attacks and the city falls... OE DT destroyed at little cost. The rest of the army shifts forward with a focus on the coastal ports and giving up on the huge right swing/flanking through the sand. Loss of this NM city is huge (I had no idea), as OE NM drops from 35 to 25... .its now just a matter of time and OE will sue for peace.

Iraq - UK and OE units dance in the sand, each trying to find the others weak spot... UK huddles up near their HQ for resupply.

Libya - The first of the partisan units are destroyed, but the UK Cav unit gets their orders wrong and races back to Cairo instead of engaging the second unit.

November 4th 1916

Shadow Front: GE and AH both move troops to the front with new weapons (IW2), this is a huge blow to the Entente as they are no where near getting research hits on that technology. Romania, she just doesn't want to be part of the war. Representatives from all 4 major powers, and an attempt on the battle field has not moved her off of 67% in months.

Western Front:

France - Rain and mud slow down any idea of follow up attacks.

Atlantic - More squadron's head out to take on the 4! subs raiding UK convoys.

Italy - With no mud, Italy and France conduct a major attack on the southern part of the AH line... Trieste falls. AH NM falls to under 50% with the loss of this major city... hello Romania?


Pre Battle OOB -

Balkan Front:

Greece - Units move up and make contact with CP forces, the counter stroke will be harsh but need to distract them to so Italy can establish her new front.

Mediterranean - Fleet operate with a new long term plan..... first set is remove as much of AH navel assets as we can. Several weak units are set to the North Sea.

Post Battle of Trieste -

Middle East:

Palestine - OE falls back in disarray from Damascus and is pursued by UK infantry... badly supported the OE DTs are heavily damaged at little cost. The last NM city in the south will soon fall to Arab partisans' while Sir Laurence HQ is marching north from Acaba.

Iraq/Libya - Troops continue to shift in the sand.
