Season 1: 'Official' Tourney Pyramid

Fury Games has now signed with Matrix Games, and we are working together on the next Strategic Command. Will use the Slitherine PBEM++ server for asynchronous multi-player.

Four game to the allies!

Man... I've got to hustle vs Bullet to shore up the axis!

I expected that. If 2 players at similar skill plays the Allies will win.

- Hard task to survive for the Axis fleet in the beginning
- Late game difficulties for Axis to take London because of (nearly) undestroyable AA units by Air

Axis must not make (m)any fault and there are many traps.

Giving the UK those extra planes did wonders to the allies prospect it seems. Fighters were something desirable but expensive so by getting some for free it frees the UK to afford a more aggressive posture in units or diplo in the early game.

As an avowed 'Axis have the edge' believer, I quite like it. We just might have found the balance sweet spot.

Wait what? [&:] There's a couple of issue with this.

Irishguard is listed axis and you said 'I win for Axis' then said you surrendered.

When was that game started? Supposed to only have to only have one Tourney game at a time and right now we are playing one. Irishguard was in an official tourney game with johanssb until the 8th. Sorry guys, I don't think I'll be able to count that one. Let's call it an exhibition game...

People you have to keep me updated when the game starts, not just when it's over! [;)]

A quick scan of the available player shows that Sugar is the only available player on the floor above IrishGuards.

What says you Sugar? You're fresh off your victory against (1st floor) Khotos so you are still in a grace period where you can decline challenges from below.

If you don't fancy duking it out with IrishGuards just now, I'll let him challenge another 1st floor player for a chance to go up in rank.

Alternatively you can check who else in the second level and try to lock them for their next game.

For example, LLv34Mika has already preemptively challenged me, so I'm saving him my next game as soon as my current one is over.

So only games between players of different levels can be played?

Off course I'll gladly accept IrishGuards' challenge. Which side does he wish to play?

Unless the upper floor is empty or that everyone on that panel is locked in a game already. Then same level challenges for pyramid advancement are fair game.

If someone at the higher level is free though, ideally they should be knocking on their door first.

Of course people can play as many exhibition games as they want! There's no limit to that or restriction on who to face!

He accepted, picking Axis. I'll let you guys take it from here.

With this, all the second floorers are locked in games so first floorers (and new comers) can challenge each other to move up a rank.

So, I guess the asterisk means player available? Is there anyone among the BPINisBack, nnason, Amadeus, Ironclad who is up for a match? Preferably someone who can play several rounds per day?

In terms of turns output, BPINisBack is probably your best bet. [:)]
