I have not noticed the Allied ships causing me too much difficulty. They have been directed more at the coastal artillery sites than my forces. Pulling back will reduce their effect a lot, although they have some ships that can reach Caen, I think.
The Allied supply situation will not change too much if I pull back, unless I pull back South of Caen. I think that having captured the hex with a Mulberry Harbour that would have effected their supply, but there is no indication that it did.
The Allied planes have been a pain, but because of a flaw with the supply sources in the scenario, not as much as they could/should be. There interdiction efforts can be painful, but it has not been too bad.
As you can see below, I am planning on pulling back a bit and your comments helped in that decision. Please feel free to give advice as you see fit. It will help me learn!
