so begins the engineer onslaught.

81 engineer.

The new beta i think has overloaded the engineer amounts. It clears out all forts in one week no matter what.

This, i feel, has not been for the improvement of battle results.

and i think some out there might agree

Tyronec gets the good generals into the key attack battles.

He even got a Model attack in near Leningrad and later in the week near Rostov.

same week.

i throw the enemy back over the river. still flank pressure will force retreat

final Moscow

Tyronec pushes mass infantry up to front lines as tanks refuel.

an idea.

Maybe, in first summer, Russian tank divisions should be able to attack non hasty at a lower mp cost.

I think that was the turn I decided not to assault Lenningrad and instead use Model for Sevastapol. And why is Model the best fort crusher, shouldn't that be Manstein ? Bring back HoI leader characteristics !!!

I think the most interesting thing is how well supplied the Germans are basically at Moscow in August-so in almost 3 years of patches nothing has changed and the Germans still advance far faster than historical.

Again to many nerfs to soviet unit strength is the key culprit I think for this. I argued something like 5-6 years against the nerfs but many pro-German enthusiast thought the Soviets were much to strong so nerf after nerf followed---all the while any decent German player could already do historical or better pre-soviet nerfs.

Takes awhile for the truth to come out in this game due to how long it even takes to play through entire PvP 1941-1942 era of the game...but in play after play you can see the Germans still far ahead of historical. This is an inherent game mechanics/balance issues the designers/patch team have caused.

You cant continuously remove Soviet CV strength and remove soviet units from the OOB while not nerfing German supply, mobility, and CV and expect anything but what the game is showing now.

Yes I hear the German logistics have gotten worse....but does it matter? You can see plainly from these pictures advances far further than historical and soviet CV strength is very weak across most of the front. The Soviet player has to be allowed to have an Army with some CV to actually play the game and delay the Germans prior to the summer of 1942.

There are significant constraints on German logistics, so the extent that they can't really advance past Rostov or take Voronezh in '41. However there is no logistical restraint to advancing far past Lenningrad or Moscow (in my other game was able to take Yaroslav and Ivanovo in '41). In '42 they are free to get a lot further East and probably by '43 their logistics should allow them to conquer the whole map - combat permitting.
If the game is indeed unbalanced, which is my impression, would prefer to see the Soviet CVs increased rather than a hit to Axis logistics. That would make for a more fun game, rather than Axis have a 'free' advance up to their supply range in '41 (which is kind of what it feels like around Rostov/Voronezh).

Leningrad cut

Now, it was unclear to me why the troop transport was not working. Port to port should work, my port had not been bombed.

The whole lake Lagoda rules needs a makeover. When frozen some supply should get thru by sled and ice truck.

and a quality 1941 hoard counterattack.

a most proper result.

ty will try and surround some units every turn as maybe tank mp not always at 50. He seems to though always have 1 or 2 divisions unused and fueled up waiting for opportunity.
