Allied Impulse #8
All Allies pass except the USSR which takes a Land Action.
No Ground Strikes are conducted, nor are any rail moves done.
Russia moves units into defensive positions and rebases air into more advantageous positions in the North (as the Axis seems to have exhausted everything in the South).
In any case, the turn ends on a 2.
End of Turn sequence:
No Partisans. US adds chit to Germany, but takes no options.

Initiative won by Axis. No reroll possible.
Axis Impulse #1
Weather is an 8 giving Rain in Arctic/Temperate, Fine in Med, Storm in N. Monsoon, and Fine were it does not yet matter.
All Axis powers take combineds.
A German TRS picks up a Finnish MECH. 2 Japanese TRS/AMPH take the MAR and INF-HQ to sea area adjacent to Truk. Another Japanese move sees a TRS pick up an INF in Japan in the China Sea. Italian SUBs miss in the North Atlantic. No search is made anywhere else.
For Japan, three A/C move to ground strike an out of supply Communist unit in North China. No success was had.
Japan moves an HQ in the North and later, debarks an INF into a North Chinese port and a MAR into Truk. Germany moves HQ forward to put front line units in supply and moves Manstein into Warsaw on his way to the Southern Front.
One attack is declared in North Africa, Egypt, at poor odds. The Italian HQ adds offensive support to give 3.5 attack adjustment. An ART adds to the defenders, though making the attack an even +2. The attack fails with all attacker flipped and an Italian MECH destroyed. Any chance of progress in North Africa by the Axis is trickling away with each loss.
Nothing else happens except air rebases to better positions.

Allied Impulse #3
CW and France take Naval Actions. USSR and China take Land. USA takes a combined.
CW port strikes Athens. Italy avoids the combat having 6 surprise points.
CW and France move to protect supply and to open up seaways to Archangel by removing Presence of the Enemy penalties for next allied impulse.
CW activates in the Norwegian Sea but fail to find the 2 German ships there. East Med is also activates and a German NAV joins an Italian FTR in the 1 box. Again, no one finds. Finally, Italy activates combat in the North Atlantic. With 9 surprise, the CW avoid combat in that area.
No STRAT bombing or Ground Strikes are attempted given the weather.
A Leningrad factory is moved beyond the Urals.
During Land Movement, China stays pat while Russia shores up its front.
There are rebases... CW rebases a FTR into Gibraltar from a French TRS and an FTR moves into a position in Suez to defend the Red Sea from enemy NAV.
Axis Impulse #5
Weather roll is a 2 giving Fine everywhere... perfect Axis attack weather.
Germany and Japan take a land while Italy takes a Combined.
Italy's naval move does not elicit a response... it simply moves a unit stack to the 0 box in the Italian Coast sea area.
Japan STRAT bombs Lanchow with no effect. Germany does 2 A/C ground strikes on the hex East of Pskov and 2 ART strikes against the hex SW of Dnepropetrovsk. Both are not intercepted. Pskov area units are both disorganized while only one of the units near Dnepropetrovsk is disorganized.
Germany and Japan rail units towards the front in Russia and China respectively. Italy rails Bilbao to the Southern front in Russia. Land Movement involves further moving to the various fronts to set up land attacks.
Germany declares 2 attacks, one East of Pskov and the other SW of Dnepropetrovsk. Germany adds 9 points of Ground Support to the Southern attack which is not intercepted. Russia adds none to either attack.
Germany gets another terrible result in the Southern attacks, losing an ARM while the Russians also lose an ARM... the attackers are disorganized. The attack against Pskov goes much better with 1 defender destroyed and the other sent to the Spiral and a breakthrough.
Germany reorganizes an LND in the north with an INF HQ and otherwise rests.

Allied Impulse #6
CW and US take combineds. USSR and China take Land. France takes a naval.
CW moves FTR into West Med and Red Sea.
CW moves CPs into the Norwegian and Arctic sea zones. Searches were failed in the Italian Coast and East Med. A German search of the Norwegian Sea also missed.
CW moves to STRAT bomb Lille accompanied by 2 FTR3s. A German interceptor contests the air space. While 1 CW FTR3 is aborted, the defending German is destroyed along with its pilot and the bombers clear through. With a roll of 8, 1 German BP is lost.
USSR moves to Ground Strike 2 exposed German stacks in the North, hoping to stem the tide. Divisions in both stacks are disorganized, but the Corps-sized units remain available for use.
A Stalino factory is sent by rail beyond the Ural Mountains. For Russia, Land Movement involves a general pull back to cities near Leningrad and shuffling of defenders in both North and South. In China, the communists continue to attempt to infiltrate Japanese lines while some shuffling about is done by the Nationalists in the South.
Air rebases are accomplished to move a Russian FTR out of harms way of an overrun by Leningrad, and a CW FTR3 is sent to the northern most part of the Shetlands to intervene in the case of a Condor attack.
Axis Impulse #7
A roll of 5 sees Rain in the Arctic and N. Monsoon, and Fine everywhere else.
Italy takes a Naval, Germany and Japan, Combined actions.
Germany moves its Condor into the Norwegian Sea. Two ships move from Northern Finland into the Arctic. German searches fail in the Arctic. and Norwegian Seas.

Re: Solo AAR for Global War
Nov/Dec 1941
Allies win the initiative and win the reroll.
Allied Impulse #1
Weather is Snow in the Arctic/N. Temperate, Rain in the Med, Fine in the N. Monsson and S. Temperate and Rain in the S. Monsoon.
China and the USSR take a Land. France and the CW are doing a Naval. US chooses Combined.
CW and Franced moves convoys and protected routes as well as some unit transport... notably, a 6 move FTR to Gibraltar and an ARM div rounding the cape on the way to Egypt (presumably). Activation is attempted in the Italian Coast (with an Italian NAV reacting)(no combat results), and the East Med (again, unsuccessful). On the other hand, the Germans attempt searches in the Arctic and Norwegian Seas of which Arctic is a great success with 9 surprise points leading to 1 damaged and 1 aborted light ship from the 2 box. There is no 2nd round. Unfortunately for Germany, in the Norwegian sea, the CW FTR3 in the 2 box finds the Condor in the 3 with 3 surprise points leading to a lob-sided combat +5/-4 with surprise. Nevertheless, an 11 clears the Axis bomber through without damage and the air combat ends with no damage to either side. A second roll brings failure to find on both sides.
Given the weather, no STRAT bombing or Ground Strikes are attempted by the Allies.
Russia rails some distant MIL to the Western Front.
In China, both Communists and Nationalists work to extend and strengthen their lines. Russia moves into stronger defenses and uses ATRs to reorganize railed MIL units near the front.
Allies win the initiative and win the reroll.

Axis Impulse #3
Japan takes a naval impulse as does Italy. Germany takes a land.
Japan moves units into Kwajalein, and rolls a 3 to add another chit into the entry pool.
Japan moves a bunch of divisions and a couple of units into various ports in preperation for invasions in the next couple of turns.
Italy moves a few subs out to attack CPs and a loaded TRS (7 German INF) with escort to the East Med.
An Italian search in the Central Atlantic finds and aborts 2 French CPs while being aborted itself (4 surprise selects sub combat while 2 mitigate D result to A). In Cape St. Vincent, both sides fine in a surface combat, with 2 of 3 escorts in the 4 box being aborted and 1 of the SUBs. There is no 2nd round. The CW searches the Italian Coast and achieves surprise. They have 8 surprise... 4 are used to select SUB combat and 4 are used to lower possible damage to 2 aborts. 1 SUB is aborted and the Italan CP is destroyed. The combat ends in that sea zone.
To be continued...

Next, the CW finds with 8 surprise in the East Med. 4 points are spent on air combat (+1 A-A, -1 Axis A-A)... the CW CV-FTR is aborted while the German FTR3 is destroyed. 2 Surprise are used to reduce AAA to 0. 2 more increase from D to D,3A. Results are damaged TRS and aborted CA for Italy and an aborted CA for the CW. In a second round, the CW again finds with 8 surprise. The lone Italian NAV is destroyed with Pilot in the ensuing air combat. 2 surprise points mitigates AAA... the rest are used to increase damage. In the end, the Italian is aborted and a good CA destroyed. Italy brings another FTR to the 0 box for the next possible round. Again, the allies gain surprise for a 3rd round for 8 surprise. All points are used in attacker air combatr value increase. The air combat sees an Italian FTR aborted and air combat ends with the Italians aborting the air combat. Both sides searches fail in the 4th round attempt.

Ground strikes are conducted on the hex SW of Dneproptervsk, flipping 2 or the 3 defenders.
Germany rails a few MIL forward and declares attacks on 3 hexes. One is near Novgorod, one is NW of Smolensk and the other is SW of Dneproptervsk. HQ support is lent by Guderian in the South.
The hex near Novgorod is taken with 1 unit lost and attackers disorganized but the hex taken. Same for the hex near Smolensk. However, a roll of 17 means the hex in the south is taken with 2 defender losses and no negative effects in the attacker.
Unfortunately, I forgot a screen shot for the attack near Smolensk.

Allied Impulse #5
Weather is Storm in the Arctic and Rain in the Temperate while there is Fine everywhere else.
France chooses a Naval Action. CW and USA choose Combineds. USSR and China choose Lands.
CW does a port attack against Italian ships in Athens and gains 8 surprise. I Italian CA is bottomed and another aborted.
After Naval moves, which was a bit of convey protection make-work, CW activates in East Med and gains 8 surprise. All surprise are spent on Air-Air attack value. In air combat, the Axis FTR is shot down leaving a lone German NAV that proceeds to abort from Air Combat, hoping to maintain supply to N. Africa. Nobody finds in the 2nd round and a sigh of relief is breathed in Rome. Axis proceed not to find in the Arctic Ocean Sea Zone.
There are no Ground Strikes. Nor are there rail moves. USSR ground moves involve shoring up of defenses and pulling some OOS troops into supply in the north. CW moves a unit or 2 in Egypt to make arrangements should supply for the Axis be cut in the next little while.
The Impulse ends but not the turn.

Axis Impulse #7
German takes a combined. Italy takes an air. Japan takes a Land Action.
Germany moves 2 SUBs into Bay of Biscay from Brest. A CW NAV intervenes to the 0 Box. CW escorts find with surprise but avoid combat against the stronger SUBs.
Italy STRAT bombs Stalingrad with its 6 factor, 16 range bomber with no interception. A modified roll of 10 on 3 factors (due to weather) destroys 2 Russian BP.
Germany attempts 2 GS against a hex NE of the Crimea with FTR escort. Japan attempts to GS an out of supply Chinese Communist in the mountains. Both are surprisingly successful with all 3 German targets being disorganized while the key unit for China, being a MTN, is also flipped.
Attacks are declared by Japan on the Mountain unit and by Germany on the hex NE of Crimea. Ground support is added by Japn to its attack.
In China, a blitz is declared by the Communists. A partisan is destroyed in the ensuing combat while the fortunate MTN is shattered. Attackers remain organized however. Germany declares a Blitz NE of Crimea. A "3" roll means a lost unit and disorganization!
The turn does not end and only Italy reorganizes an LND.

Nov/Dec 1941 con't
Allied Impulse #9
Weather is Storm in the Arctic and Rain in the Temperate while there is Fine everywhere else with a roll of 4.
France chooses a naval, CW and USA combined and USSR/China Lands.
CW and France move cps into the East and West Med restoring the Cyprus resource corridor.
CW activates in the East Med... and succeeds, anticipating cutting supply for the Axis in N. Africa. 6 points are once move put into Air-Air attack value. A 20 kills the German NAV without any damage to allied air forces. The Italian CA is damaged.
The East Med has been cleared of Axis forces for the first time since Italy joined the war.
CW moves to STRAT bomb Lille with 3 good bombers. Axis intercepts with its 7 factor FTR defender which, in turn, is counter-intercepted by to Beaufighters or 5 factors each. First roll clears a bomber through and the CW responds by aborting the German AC. The bombing reduces German BPs by 1 point.
The CW ART in Egypt attempts to Ground Strike an adjacent unit. Both enemy units are flipped, and, being out of supply, fairly vulnerable.
Russian moves are to protect and solidify lines while the CW sets up to attack.
CW declares and attack in Egypt; however, the AAA allows the Italians to call the combat, which is assault. Italy loses a unit, the AAA, while the CW loses a division and fails to take the hex with disorganization.
Zhukov reorganized disorganized units at the front.
The turn does not end with a roll of 10.

Axis Impulse #11
All three Axis powers take combined impulses.
Germany moves an AMPH and a few escorts to the 3 box in the Baltic Sea picking up a MTN Div from Oslo and a MOT from Finland. Japan transports a MIL from Japan to Canton.
Italy STRAT bombs Stalingrad again... no damage is inflicted.
Italian ART ground strikes a Russian stack with only 1/10 chance for each of the 3 units. This is near Kiev. No others are attempted. No success was to be had.
Japan moves units into better positions in the North and the MIL in Canton to an adjacent hex. Germany drops off the MTN Div and Finnish MOT on the coast near Leningrad.
Air is rebase but no reorganizations occur.
The turn ends on a roll of 1.
