Hi all,

Just the usual. The lack of 2 divisions is really hurting at both Singapore and Manila [:@]

The invasion of Timor has started. Mini-KB will move to within 240 miles of Darwin and conduct a port attack if no TF's are found. Depending on the results of it i'm tempted to use Nagato and Mutsu for shore bombardment if not needed in the surface combat role.

Hi all a further day of frustration on the ground with the lack of 2 division hittign home. I've had enough of this. I'm diverting Java assigned forces from Saigon and 4 large SNLF's from Tokyo to help take the Phillipines.

Positive news - my subs hit another and a TK full of fuel in between SF and PH [:)]

The attack on Darwin only hit an MSW. Ah well nothing ventured nothing gained.

My division didn't take Koepang. Jesus H Christ does nothing go right for me on the ground. I am ordering a shock attack tomorrow. Nagato and Mutsu + escorts are to shell the sh*t out of the place too.

Timor is captured. At least the main parts of Koepang and Lautem. Good.

I'm evac'ing Medan. A whole regiment can't take on some Dutch rabble. I'm not going to waste anymore troops on it. It can wait till later.

The battle for Homan has started. I Outnumber him over 3:1.

Hi all,

Still the lack of forces is telling in Malaya and Phillipines. I don't think i'll take Singapore now without reinforcement. I pounded Tuegugarao from the air and my attack today achieved 1:1 odds and took a fort level down. I will repeat tomorrow.

Other than that one of my subs took 2 DC's. Limping back to Kwajalein.

In China. The battle for Homan is about to start.

Also the 33rd and 55th Division are approaching Tuang Gyi. BFF brigade appears to be present.

Hi all,

Tuguegarao looks close to falling. I have broken through all defences. About bloody time. I am as such divertign all en route former Java forces to Malaya to help take Singapore. I believe the additional division and brigade freed from Tuguegarao should be enough for Manila.

Intense land fighting in China. At Homan 2 huge armies are facing off. I broke through some defences but it cost me 4500 casualties [X(]

Hi all,

Progress was made today at Manila. The fortifications protecting the city were taken by a determined attack.

The first attack to hit Javain soil was launched by a large force of Nells, Sallies escorted by Zero's. They hit the airfields at Batavia. Some enemy fighters attempted to interfere but the Zero's downed many of them.

Good news! Tuguegarao has finally fallen to the 65th Brigade and 2nd Division. The 2 Phillipno division faught stubbornly for over a month.

This is good since these 2 still relatively intact units will march to Manila. This should be enough to capture the place. As such i'm now diverting the convoy bringing 3 SNLF's + 1st Guards Brigade to Truk for future operations in the South Pacific.

Batavia is hit again from Palembang (13 planes destroyed on the ground and 4 in the air). I really want to keep this place closed down for the future invasion of Java. As the screenie shows I own Merak. This is good. I will land all invasion forces here and suffer NO landing casualties. As soon as I take out Singapore and Manila I will have 12 free divisions and brigades. As it is I could land with 2 brigades and a division if pushed but I really want to swecure Malaya and the Phillipines first.

Interesting developments in Burma. After taking Rangoon the 33rd and 55th divisions moved onto Taung Gyi and moved out the brigade there. For some reason swift is not moving his forces up there. As such 2 brigades are trapped south of Taung Gyi. I am leaving them there and racing on for Mandalay. I really don't think he has much to defend Burma at present.

Other news - China. 5 division/brigades advancign on 4 suspected enemy divisions in Changsha. To the south east of Changsha 6 brigades are locked in stalemate with 5 Chinese Corps. Mass battle in Homan. I have 11 brigades/divisions to swifts 7. I can't seem to dislodge him. Depsite bombing and bombarding him my last deliberate attack cost me 4500 casualties to his 800. My aim in China is to secure the railway and dig in.
