Remembering to de-select each and every time is a tough requirement in this game. Even after all the turns I have played, I still screw that up quite frequently. The most common result is that when my next turn opens I see a general or two that are no longer in their army-sometimes far behind it. Sometimes a unit moves where it was not supposed to. I suppose that with enough exposure, this will no longer be a problem-I hope.

There was an email that went around from Andrew saying he was going camping. Did I just imagine that?

Ah well, whatever . . .

Two turns in less than 24 hours-very nice. We can do it...we can do it...

The soldiers may want to take some souvenirs home.[;)] Lots of nice things in Madrid, I'm sure.

Well, we went over the 48 hour limit again. This is a rather exciting stage of the great play to have languish like this.[:)] I must see what I got for my bitter contest with Spain.[:D]

LOL-not sure how to take that. I actually got what I wanted in N Africa-rather cheaply manpower wise. It still cost me some big bucks. I was surprised that the game gave me any victory points at all without a battle. I had 1810 points-not bad.

On the bright side, you now have peace-and a rather huge boost in experience. Also, a little news flash, all Europe is now alarmed at the rise of Austria-[:D]-no rest for Emperor Matto.

I (now) only wish the best for Spain.

I wonder how long peace will reign. Russia must be docile for another 1.5 years. Turkey and Austria are amicable neighbors. I wonder who will let the dogs of war loose again?

Turkey T114 in.
