Huh? The usual post (from players, i will admit) is that there were not enough merchant ships put in. I know that lots of USN transport (official USN ships) were left out, but i hadn't heard that the Japanese ships were put in...

Is the admission "that they gave the Japanese several times their historical merchant marine capacity" somewhere accessible? Is this based on haulage capacity, or what???

I too have read that admission. It was in a thread about 6 months ago or so, but I can't even begin to recall which one.
