My Mom kept all her mail since my Dad died in 1982. That was scary.

As in junk mail?? [X(] [X(]

Did she at least open her mail? My dad didn't even bother opening it.

And you got off light if you only filled one dumpster. Cleaning out my father's (small) house took two. And three different complete cleanings by three different people/groups to get it to the point of being able to sell it as a "fixer-upper". *sounds of disgust*

Yeah, she did go through it. She even wrote checks for the bills, but never sent them. It took a long time to get that straightened out, as well as her check book. She thought she was broke when she had over $13k in a non-interest bearing checking account.

I guess I should elaborate. I finished the first floor. I never went to the 2nd floor or the basement.[X(] That'll take another 8-10 days of vacation.[:(]

TOAW III was just released, and I'm currently downloading it. Between this, and my coming exams, a 24-hour day just won't be enough...

Was looking at the forums as guest at lunch and saw the anti-thread. Must post to the only true thread.

Well, our son, daughter-in-law, and grandson are visiting us, and they were outside enjoying the pool... when our fearless guard dog intercepted an (apparent) rattesnake about 15 feet from the baby (on a blanket on the ground).

The female (coward bossy) dog was firmly behind the male, urging him on. (bark, bark, bark...)

The snake was herded out of the yard into the woods. My wife said they weren't sure what kind of snake it was, but it hissed and rattled. Only one kind of snake rattles that i know of...

Got to get a mongoose. The snake would have been dinner.

Is it just my computer, or worse IT Nazis, or were the forums down for a few hours today?

I couldn't log onto the web page at all for a while today. I thought it was the morons down the hall who manage our IT had just tried something new.

Not sure how a mongoose would get along with the dogs... [:D]

Occasionally we will find dead snakes in the yard, apparently killed by #1 dog. Not rattlesnakes though (at least not so far). #1 Dog will take on snakes - girl dog will urge him on (barking from a safe distance).
