Have already made a lot of undocumented fixes.... trying to go through and document now.

Following looks like a problem. (mobilization_3.txt)

Should not require that Swiss are Allied. I think I changed it to the universal dummy condition:
#VARIABLE_CONDITION= 45 [1] [100] [0] (Germany Axis, Mobilized)

#NAME= DE 844 - Germany Declares War On Switzerland (Switzerland>Allies)

I just started a YT lets play.
If anyone's interested it can be found here https://youtu.be/NbH7zJo-4b4

It's in German but Youtube's autotranslated subtitles work reasonably well (they can be found in the bottom right corner).

Comments are always apreacciated. Especially of what I might be doing wrong in all those events!

Crispy,

FYI-

Your Tungsten Imports from Portugal seem to require Spain be 100% mobilized.

However, historically, that was not the case.
Another delicate issue was the trade in wolfram (tungsten). Following the invasion of the Soviet Union, Germany became dependent on Portugal and Spain for their wolfram supplies, since it was of particular value in producing war munitions. To maintain her neutrality, Portugal set up a strict export quota system in 1942. This concept of neutrality through equal division of products supplied to belligerents was different from that of the Northern European neutrals who worked on the basis of "normal pre-war supplies". However, in January 1944, the Allies began pressuring Salazar to embargo all wolfram sales destined for Germany. Portugal resisted, defending their right as a neutral state to sell to anyone and fearing that any reduction in their German exports would prompt Germany to attack Portuguese shipping. Salazar's fears were not groundless: despite Portuguese neutrality, the steamer Ganda was torpedoed and sunk by the Germans in June 1941. On 12 October 1941 the neutral ship Corte Real was stopped for inspection by German U-boat U-83 80 miles west of Lisbon. The U-boat opened fire with the deck gun, setting the ship on fire and finally sinking her with two torpedoes. On 14 December 1941 the unescorted (and neutral) Cassequel was hit in the stern by one of two torpedoes from U-108 about 160 miles southwest of Cape St. Vincent, Portugal, and sank immediately. The Serpa Pinto was likewise stopped and boarded in 1944 (26 May) in the mid-Atlantic by the German submarine U-541, but the ship was ultimately allowed to proceed after the German naval authorities declined to approve its sinking. On 5 June 1944, just before the Normandy invasion, following threats of economic sanctions by the Allies, the Portuguese government opted for a complete embargo on wolfram exports to both the Allies and the Axis, thereby putting 100,000 Portuguese labourers out of work.

Crispy,

Your German War Economy events (DE 548, 549, 550) may need to be looked at (see below).

As I understand it, the following are the case conditions possible:

Berlin(Axis), Paris(Allied), Warsaw(Allied):
- 150 MPPs
Berlin(Axis), Paris(Axis), Warsaw(Allied):
- 125 MPPs
Berlin(Axis), Paris(Allied), Warsaw(Axis):
- 125 MPPs

Does not seem to be a case for all three being Axis.

Also, confused on why Germany gets more MPPs by just controlling Berlin?

Hi Darkhorse,

Their is a relevant decision event for all 3 cities being Axis, which I've copied below.

Germany will receive 75 MPP if all 3 Capitals are Axis beginning June 1943, 125 MPP if one of the Warsaw/Paris are lost, and 150 MPP if both Warsaw/Paris are lost. This was designed to replicate the increasing intensification of the war economy in Germany as they were losing the war.

That is only one scenario for the Tungsten imports. Where Spain is Axis leaning and not mobilized the below will fire instead. There are many events that will not make sense if you look at them singularly, but are meant to just cover different scenarios.

Country 104 is Switzerland, the note above mentioning Spain it is wrong. The notes beginning with ; that are not read by the game engine should mostly be ignored, I rarely cared to update these but rather only concerned with ensuring the events worked as intended.

I have to say I am a little lost with all of the items you put forward.

Did you make a short list of errors that I could review? I’m a little nervous about importing new script files when the game currently plays fine.

Also does anyone have and feedback on the changes from 10.0 & 11.0 particularly air power and air defence?

I played an Allied opponent that didn’t go past Dec 1941 before they conceded and playing as the Allies currently in a sandbox match that is playing out some alternate history.

I think the one extra movement point for armored units buffs the Axis a lot.
But if you like I'd play the Allies in a match :)

Sorry mate I got my hands full already.
Would have jumped in only if the modfather himself was willing to play.

I am open for a game. Please play the side you enjoy the most, or are best at.
