Hi all,
ORIGINAL: USS America

Sorry I haven't done my share of posting in THE THREAD!!! lately, but I've been down and mostly out for a couple of days with a cold. I'm better today, but all of my office mates might disagree and wish I had stayed home one more day. [:D]

It is nothing that good scotch can't cure... [8D]

Hi all,
ORIGINAL: Chickenboy

Good morning Leo. How are you this Friday? [:)]

Autumn is nearing... last week we had temperatures up to +30 degrees Centigrade and today it is barely +22 degrees centigrade although it is bright and sunny (and it was chilling +5 degrees Centigrade in the morning - it was clear night)...

Leo "Apollo11"

Fall is in full swing here, Leo. Lots of color changes in the leaves, particularly the sumacs and maples. Reds, oranges, yellows and golds. Beautiful. Cooling off too, but this weekend will be quite pleasant in the upper 60s and lower 70s F. Autumn here-well, early Autumn anyways-is beautiful.

What Leo said. Rum toddy will cure what ails 'ya, dude. If you need a doctor's prescription, let me know and I'll find someone that can write you an Rx. [:D]

Rather quiet thes past few days. I suspect you all are out harvesting your crops.[;)]
Good to see Jeff is back. I thought he might be still pouting over the Royal's and Chief's.[;)]

Hey now, wait a minute here, Mr. Fair Weather fan! So they started at 0-2? Remember the 1993 Dallas Cowboys' squad? Emmitt Smith held out on his contract negotiations and they lost the first two games. After his return, we righted the ship and went on to win the Superbowl.

I think Emmitt Smith is available to start for the Chefs now too! So's John Brown! Cheer up, there's always hope! [8D]

Nope. It's still too early for a snow storm. Just heavy rains and winds.

ETA: Otherwise I agree with you on that snow shoveling business.

Nope, they're garbage. With Pioli and Hunt steering the ship, I am swimin' for shore.

Not to early for snow around here. August and July are the only months that it has not ever snowed.
