Also..don't tell anyone but the infantry at Ramree is moving due East. Perhaps ALSP means to cross the Irrawaddy North of Prome somewhere. Hmmmm?
Also, what happened to the armo(u)r? Perhaps there wasn't enough lift capacity. We could use some LST's in the CBI.
Bring me the head of Diego Garcia...and the Mayor of Addu Atoll too!

And the rest. 16th British Brig is wrecked. 16th Indian has disablement. Everything else...the malaria, yellow fever, dengue and dysentery hasn't set in yet.

We do have a few crappy Fulmars lazing about.
Less of the crappy, they gave the eyeties an, er, eyeful.
The Beaufighters can upgrade to the Hurricane IId.
But won't

--Assorted bombing and shooting down of LYB pranes. Attrit San Fernando aifield and find out what JJ has at Aparri (over next week)
--Wichita bombards Clark again (2 days)
--Another drop of supplies and troops at Lucena to be covered by newly arrived Massachusetts and North Carolina (patching up surface scratches at Manado) (8 days)
--Build up Lucena and Batangas airfields. Build up Naga to at least level 2 to get some SBD's in there. Build up San Jose airfield. 4 SeaBee units just landing...and they are alive too.
--Fly in bulk of 503rd PIR to San Jose for possible drop on Lingayen or Iba if either is poorly garisoned. If either can be seized, then 21st Marine is available at Cagayan as a "floating reserve".
--If no cheap seizure available, then tentative landing at Loag in about 3 weeks

Look, I hope I wasn't out of line about the Fulmars, but you have to admit they are UGLY. [:)]
The Beaufighters have great range and they did seem to perform well compared to the Hurris over Ramree. Not sure what a Hurricane IId is .
Also, the Beaufighters have the aesthetic thing going for them.

Yes, 2nd UK and 7th Aus are both prepping for Loag and will be ready. Do you need 2d UK in Burma? I am trying to work out a way to get 2nd UK past the Jap airfields on Timor. Probaly we can cover her movement with Yorktown when she is ready.
I think we need both Wasp and Yorktown to go that close to Formosa (landing at Laog).
32nd ID at Port Hedrand and 3 USMC regiments at Sorong are also prepping for Loag but I dont think we have enough transport or escort for all of them.

RE: Anna Mae Wong
Nope, don't need 2nd UK in Burma, have at it.

Aye. He's right, Cap'n. Fulmars are right attractive. Just like this fine English lass-a right looker, that one!:

What is that greenhouse thing for? Are they growing Oregano?
What if I offer the P-39 as an ugly American design?

ONE Hurricane against 52 fighters, and he not only doesn't get shot down, he shoots up 11 or 14 bomber! I figure he had to budget 9 shots per gun per bomber before he was Winchester for ammo. You gotta find out who was driving that Hurri! [&o]
Yeah, I know : AA probably did most of the damaging but that guy had to be in there too!

Not sure what a Hurricane IId is .
It's a Hurricane with a pair of bl**dy big guns!!
Though I believe in the CBI they substituted the guns for eight bl**dy big rockets.
They weren't a great success as the Hurricane IIc also carried these rockets and it had 20mm guns as well.

Right, so it's chiefly for ground attack then. That's what I thought. Was the cockpit really small so they had to use women pilots or did the guy in this picture just not get enough bully beef?
