Hello, dudes.

Back from the Abyss.

But now I may have to go to Kansas City this week or next.  At this time of the year.  No offense to anyone who lives there, but that is something I am not looking forward to.

Today it is a little foggy here. Drizzle and freezing to the roads a little. Still beautiful out.
And gas prices are dropping. $3.13/9 here. we tend to be a little higher than elsewheres.

Yeah, cuz North Dakota doesn't have any oil production...[&:] (I know, I know, it's proximity of refinery operations, but didn't they open a big one in South Dakota?)

I've been really enjoying your oil boom story there, Shanilec. North Dakota will soon be the second largest producer of domestic oil in the US and is growing rapidly. All hail the Baken! [&o]

Morning tithe...

For those Euro-zone colleagues of ours, keep your seat belts fastened. Looks like things are going to be rough over there for a bit...

You were in International Falls, Minnesota? Why didn't you stop by and have a brewski? [;)]

A couple of buddies were back this last week. They tell me drive through Williston is worse than driving through Minneapolis at 5:00 24/7.

If California and ANWAR started punching more holes we wouldn't be #2. And then there's the proposed pipeline. But idiots rule the White House. [8|]

Up for a fishing trip. Great country. I did a lot of canoeing in Ontario. The island area of Lake of the Woods north of Baudette. Great times up there.

We go fishing every summer at Birch Lake way up in the corner of Ontario for a week. 99.9% sure it is the best week of every year for me.

You must do the fly-ins. Those are the best.

May would be a better time. Before the mosquitoes come out in force. Some are as big as turkeys and been known to carry off small children and livestock.
