I've been working full time on the patch this week and I am right now testing the last item on my TaskTracker DB for the patch ( ie Add a Reserve Committed Report ). I'll put out a new beta build for this later today or early tomorrow. It's been running on the auto-testers 24/7. The latest version is finally stable enough IMO. The changes I made to the plan scheduling to better manage cases where subordinates abandon their orders created a massive ripple effect that has taken a long time to address. I'm sorry for the delay and I thank you for your patience.

Just to confirm I have uploaded a new beta build for testing. If all goes well we'll go for an installer build next week and hopefully a release build the week after.

Well just to keep you posted, testing revealed a few bugs relating to the force structures. These were caused by faulty assignments ( in part due to my recent changes ). I've fixed these and put out a new beta build today.

One of the things with making changes to the plan scheduling code is that it causes downstream effects and that has been the case ever since I made the adjustments to better manage subordinates when they abandon their mission. It's a tedious process of test, modify, test modify... until there are no more significant bugs.

This week's testing revealed the need to modify the timing code to cater for cases where a replan is forced to occur in the last minute of the mission. I completed this yesterday. Overnight testing has gone well, with only one assert, which I'll look into shortly. But this will mean releasing another beta build.

I just uploaded a new beta build. Overnight testing here shows no asserts and that's a good sign, but will need further testing to confirm the thumbs up.

You know I have been quiet waiting for a patch, so I thinks its fair if I chime in now?

Any news?

Knowing that there are fixes coming I have been holding off on playing for a while now. Would like to get some use out of my purchase [:)]

We've hit a snag so to speak that is causing the game to run 12 times slower than normal. I'm trying to track down what has caused this. On the positive side the autotesters ( albeit running very slowly ) have not detected any other errors.

I wouldn't let it stop you playing the game. Sure the patch "fixes" some things, but I wasn't really aware (from playing the game) that it's "broken"

Well, apart from anything else, when your "in supply" units can't get supplies because of a glitch, and are stuck in place and going down for lack of food, fuel and ammo, I'd have to call that "broken."

Have you installed patch 2.141?

I don't believe you need to be waiting on patch 3 for a fix for teh supply bug. I believe it was addressed in the last patch.

Mehring must be referring to the Fallschirmjager's tendancy to run out of supplies after 3-4 days of fighting, because that's the only supply issue currently in the game AFAIK.

Patch #3 provides a nominal improvement, but for the most part the supply situation in the current game is WAD.
