I do bring to your and their attention that this was in direct responce to Hans breaking the exact same forum policy in the exact same manner directed against me, and this was initial to my provoked responce.

Please provide a quote where I used profanity.

Be advised that if you quote the word "posterior" as profanity you will only succeed in making yourself even more of a laughing stock here on these forums than you already are.

How deeply steeped in your own little fantasy world you truly are is absolutely incredible.

Ike is a good UV player, maybe even a great one, but this isn't the first time that, for reasons inexplicable to the rest of us, he has suddenly quit a PBEM game w/o warning.

When playing PBEM, it's not enough to know how the game works, and for the record, Ike knows UV inside and out; you have to be able count on your opponent and have faith that he will, within reason, keep sending his turns come what may, but Ike has consistently failed in this.

This is even more critical in WitP, where games can go on almost "forever."

Folks,

I never meant for my onging dispute with Ike to turn into something like this.

While I certainly believe Ike has some serious perceptual "issues" this "piling on" of criticism coming from so many forum regulars just feels wrong.

None of us is perfect, so maybe we should all talke a step back and examine our motives and stop throwing stones.

I'll be the first. It stops now.

And your speaking under the impression the little (but very vocal) circle of people here is a majority of UV players? You would be wrong.

Recent PM´s...
Hi Mario,

I think that was the 'cover story' because you had given him quite
the bloody nose in your game, and he wanted a way out. My 2 cents.
If you want another game, either scenario 17 or 19, I am open. I don't mind being made fun of and am open to opposing views on history...
So I send this messge to you for your secret honest opinion?...
Thanks for the review, your time and effort is much appreciated. DOMO ARIGATO GOZAIMASUTA...

Nope, no more if Matrix won't do something to enforce it's own forum rules then it's back to the green button for me.

Ike your continued poor behavior is not justified by anything you can say.  If I was a moderator you would've been banned already.
Todd

I never thought that doing an AAR would be so time consuming and difficult.

My poor behavior? What about Hans, Todd? Would you banned Hans for the same breaking the same rule I did...prior?
So all the hype in preceding panels about the glorious success of the IJN in sinking Allied transports was naught but propaganda and lies when the IJN was actually losing almost twice as many as they were sinking during that same period...
The destruction of that many planes on the ground could be plausible and believable IF and ONLY IF the hit results were reversed with the runway taking 5 hits while the base takes the 84!
Those plane destroyed results from that hit distribution make a the game a mockery of the war.
So no one has a comment about how 5 airbase hits destroyed 37 planes?

What were these bombs 20,000 pounders?
Ike is exploiting this games lack of restrictions on night capable squadrons. I believe WitP fixes it, but it doer you no good in a game where some one will mercilessly exploit it's weakness all for another score on his card.
then again, never mind, only on of you is grown up enough to understand.

Thank you for demonstrating your mental prowess, or should I say lack thereof.

It came onto this AAR with the obvious intent to hijack the thread and to sling mud. And you Todd have said nothing about it but pour your venom on me, and don´t think others can´t see it because they can.

When did I break the same rule you did?

You ignored my last request for evidence of my use of profanity as you ignore any attempt to call you out on your regular spurious claims.

Instead you respond with one non sequitur after another.

Get a clue, buy one if you have to!

Ike,

I've already warned you once before, so this time it's a one week ban. I read this entire thread and nothing I saw justified this response, which in any case would be a violation of forum rules. Please e-mail me at erikr@matrixgames.com when one week is up if you're interested in returning.

For the record, if someone agrees to a game without any house rules, then everything goes. However, I think that since this is a historical game, most players will not be happy about repeated use of tactics that were not historically possible. In the vast majority of cases, the game won't allow that, but there are a few loopholes as no game is perfect. I advise all players looking for PBEM games to ask the community in advance about house rules to decide if you want any, otherwise realize that anything goes.

Thread locked, folks.
