I don't interpret it that way. I think Erik was just basically outlining what are the basic Matrix operating methods for ALL games not just AE. Every game I have ever purchased from Matrix has had the option of digital only, digital with extended license, physical only, or combined digital and physical. I have always chosen the final method so I have a hard copy around in case my hard drive crashes or some other computer disaster befalls me

Use a download manager (Star Downloader, GetRight, etc.) then just let your computer download it over night. Even if your connect breaks the download manager can pickup right where it left off or if it takes a couple of nights to download.

In fact, do it three times. One copy goes near your computer in case you need it. One goes in your safe deposit box. The third copy gets hermetically sealed and buried at least 500 ft underneath a concrete bunker. You might not survive global thermonuclear war, but your copy of AE will.

No reason not to. Costs the same and you get them to print your manual for you. Not to mention it makes a fine exhibit to use at your trial as the justification. "I had to do it! She interrupted my WitP:AE Game, and threw out my notes! SEE??"
