Dear Diary,

On day thirteen of my celibacy I finished reading Erskine Caldwell's Tobacco Road.  The characters in this book are like the Beverly Hillbillies on meth...or it's like No Time for Sergeants if you made Will stupid, depraved, and wicked instead of ignorant, innocent, and decent.  This book SUCKS!

Aye, but I sense a dark foreboding that in his current state Canoerebel will turn to romance novels.

So you know that the descendants of those people have a festival every year and that they wear Confederate uniforms?  My Brazilian wife, who is older than 19, and I have never been to this event and that fountain of youth myth is just that, a myth.  I'd be a wealthy man, playing WITP but having less time for the game, if I did indeed discover such a fountain.

I only make these posts in between checks of my email awaiting WITP PBEM turns.  Maybe another game is what I need?  [:)]

I never thought that doing an AAR would be so time consuming and difficult.

All the above mentioned are great. The Flint/Drake Belisaurius series is 6 books and should keep him occupied for a week.........
