I begin to wonder if there will be any memory left to play the game in once it finishes loading the images [:D]

Very nice images, but running out of disk space to keep them all [:(]

It was one of my considerations as well.
So I opted not to add ship insignia's to the folder.

I'm sticking to combat and special LCU's, with whatever airgroups happen along.[;)]

Maybe they're using a 486 to run the game?

Next installment...

Seperate US Inf Regts.

These were tough, a couple might be wrong.
Let me know...
These are now added to my comprehensive zip.

For those who just dl'd this zip, do it again.
Had to add the 53rd Regt, sorry.[;)]

Placeholder installment...

US Combat Eng and Coastal Art.
Branch insignia was used, until someone can find insignia's for these guys.[;)]

Let me know what you think of these, I might try them out for some of the other generic units.

T-Class subs

Post by Smeulders »

All the T-class subs, except for Truant, I couldn't find a better version than the one that Dixie has included in one of his earlier uploads. I'm working on the other RN subs as well, but this will take a while longer as they're from different sources and need a bit of work to give them all the same 'look'.

RAN

Post by Smeulders »

A small update to my previous work on the RAN ships. This one includes 2 Tribal class DD (Warramunga and Bataan) and the 4 PG boats of the Australians.

Edit: Small mistake fixed, the HMAS Bataan badge was linked to the USN Bataan.

For what it's worth, pics of most RN subs aren't too easy to get hold of. Quite a few never had an official crest and some were lost. The unoffical badges are often difficult to get hold of because they aren't official, Truant is one of those.

The commander of Tally Ho (iirc) disliked the offical design so much he gave it away (to Chiang Kai Shek) Which made it awkward when the RN asked for it back later [:D]

I did some VMF units today , here's what I have.

I ordered two books off Amazon for Naval Air insignias, hopefully they're enough of them to keep me occupied.

Have fun.
