PS I also have a book on the Boer War which mentions the concentration camps set up by the British leading to 40,000 Boer deaths and an unknown number of Native black deaths, also currently before the courts here in the UK is the case of survivors of the Mau Mau rebellion who are suing the British Goverment for compensation regarding their detention, torture and in cases death, in detention camps during the rebellion. Maybe I should consider emigrating as I wouldn't want my taxes to go to a goverment that not only could sanction, but actively oversee these events, if i was to follow your way of thinking that is.

Here's a good book that some may like by "Gerd Niepold" Battle for White Russia, The destruction of Army Group Center-June 1944" I bought this one in like 1987-88 IIRC for a reasonable price, it seems now you can't touch it for less than U.S. $250.00-350.00 range...crazy!

Holy crap. It's sad how much some of these books cost. There are several I'd like to get my hands on but the costs are prohibitive.

Schools like you to have an open mind and a knowledge of politics, history and social sciences. Of course some would deny access to this stuff so they could stuff their own stilted agenda down your throat.

Forgot. Some schools even have you read a couple things called the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

You go one step in the right direction, but obviously fail to even approach the dimension that mass murder reached under totalitarian regimes before, during and after WWII. It's this kind of negligence of some western education systems that allows political extremists to flourish even today. @Panama, top secret --> Not everything that's on reading lists IS studied the way it should be. Some persons may be able to recognize letters on paper, but fail to understand what they mean and much less learn anything in the process. Now back to your cartoons, they seem to have formed you much more than the mentionned reading lists.

Assuming you have really read the books you mentionned, AND understood something written in there AND learned and stored relevant informations, then you should recognize the threat that totalitarian ideologies pose even to today's western democracies. The danger has grown even bigger since 9/11, because due to the challenge religious fanatism presents to western value systems neo-nazis smell their chance to stimulate xenophobic reflexes in ill-educated layers of society in many western nations and ride on this wave to (more) power. Go look what happened in the last few months and years in the Netherlands, Hungary, France and Italy, just to mention a few...

Simple enough question, admits Degrelle was an unrepentant Nazi, but doesn't discount his personal bravery. I don't see any pro nazi sentiment there, and I wouldn't question the personal bravery of any individual (no matter which side thsy were on) who fought on the Eastern Front.

Wrong. What is ONE of the key recruiting methods of totalitarian ideologies back then and today? Show-casing "heroes" aligned with the "correct" political fraction, to which the targets of political agitators and recruiters might look up to, so that these simple minds might want to join this "heroe's" tribe.

How on earth can you treat this crap like a mere reading recommendation? If this is what the thread opener naively tried to to, he got the flak he was asking for. If he - as I strongly assume - tried to nudge simple minded wargamers toward nazi literature, he should have drawn cross-fire by all those "educated" posters who instead chose to blindly throw PC and zealotry around. Neo-Nazis ARE a clear and present danger to modern western societies, the Germans have recognized that and keep struggling hard to keep neo brainware from spreading, they have learned their lesson.
