The French put a TRS and 2 x cruisers into Cape St Vincent.
The rest of the French fleet, apart from a few cruisers on ASW/Convoy Escort duty, are spread around the Western and Eastern Mediterranean.
The RN send out cruisers all over the shop for the same reasons.
A South African Corps is sent to Suez.
The Home Fleet sail for the North Sea with an INF Corps loaded aboard a TRS.
A MOT heads for the Eastern Mediterranean.
French and CW SUB's take up station in the Italian Coast.
US TRS load FTRS on the West Coast and a SUB heads for Pago Pago.
The Soviets put a Battleship to sea in the Black Sea.

Zhukov is railed to the Bessarabian Front.
The Chinese continue to retreat and the Soviets continue the return of units from Persia toward Bessarabia.
The RAF re-base a LND to Malta and a FTR to Plymouth.
The French re-base a FTR from Paris.
The Soviets re-base a LND north of Odessa.
And that ends the impulse.

No declarations of war.
Germany take a land impulse while Japan take a combined.
No Port Strikes. No naval air.
Italy send a transporter back to Italy from Bardia. Japan send out some carriers, with escorts, and a transport loaded with a infantry.
No strategic bombing.
Japan ground strike a Militia behind their lines just to use up their air moves. To their astonishment the ground strike is a success.

The Chinese, French and CW take a Land and the neutrals a Combined.
The Soviets put another naval vessel into the Black Sea. Stalin proclaims the Black Sea is Mare Nostrum or whatever that it is in Russian.
A couple of US SUBS put to sea in the Pacific, heading toward Hawaii no doubt, while a CP moves into the East Pacific.

The US Congress vote against making Hawaii and Pago Pago new naval bases.
----
13.3.2 US entry options
....
26. Relocate fleet to Pearl Harbor - It is harder to declare war on Japan if you haven’t chosen this entry option.
Until you choose it, the only naval units that may base at Honolulu or Pago Pago are TRSs and CONVs. After you
have chosen it, any US naval unit can base there.
To avoid the +2 modifier for declaring war on Japan, you need a fleet of at least 8 SCS and 2 CV (owner’s
choice) in Honolulu when you attempt to declare war. A CV or SCS only counts if its first cycle cost is at least 2
build points and is not the Langley. If you have that fleet there, you also have more control over the tension level for
anti-Japanese entry options.

The Soviets continue to put pressure on the Romanians by crowding Bessarabia.
The French try and organise their lines.
The CW move toward the Libyan frontier.

The CW re-base a LND to Egypt.
The Soviets re-base their last bomber that was used in Persia and that I forgot to re-base last time [8|]
And the impulse ends.

The French? Help the British? Are you mad? it's 1940 - the French and British have no idea what they are doing. All the French care about is letting the British take the lead and if it all goes wrong they can blame them. All the British care about is letting the French take the lead and if.... well you get the picture. The answer is categoricalment non!!!

I roll a '1' for the Axis search roll and I happily think that maybe I should keep this die after all. Then it rolls a '1' for the Allied search as well and that die is so out of here. [;)]
