Nord 1:
This is my suggestion for the Chinese.
Abandoning Nanchang and moving the army into the Japanese advance route, and behind rivers, seems like a good way to delay the Japanese reaching Changsha. Otherwise there is a risk that the Japanese forces advance by Nanchang first and then use reinforcements to attack the city. This way makes it difficult for Japan to advance here. Either Japan move into the mountains and gets disorganized (except the division), or they move into the city and we get a chance to gain a '39 US entry chit. Or Japan makes a really low odds attack on the blocking unit. The Army can, in a later impulse, fall back towards Changsha instead being captured in Nanchang.

Well, as a Finn, as we are called in this Age of the world, maybe it would trace back all the way to Fingolfin and Fingon the High King. Maybe even Feänor, though it would be cool to be related to Galadriel, that House is cursed. Though that would explain a few things in my life. A pity those ancient ancestors gave up their Immortality for Love.
China is easy to play.
1 double stack
2 use mountains
3 call the Blitz table when not surrounded
4 run away
5 build all infantry class units, always, every turn, until there are no more to build
6 (except you can splurge on some Cavalry once in a while)
7 use the CAV armies as your mobile strategic reserve, just out of reach of the Japanese axis of advance

OK, but remember to move MIL in south to resource hex.

Aye, aye.
A sidenote, in my suggestion I didn't retreat the MIL in the south because I thought it might be to early. But you are right and it should be done at once.

It can't advance without being destroyed. As Japanese Player I would ground strike in on mountain and hope to roll 1. Basically Japs have 10% chance each turn to destroy it.

It probably is. However, I'm a direct descendant of a German robber knight. He was able to send his wife and children into exile and should have come afterwards with the gold. However he was to late to leave his castle. His lost his head after the later emperor Barbarossa attacked his castle....

About that port strike. I saved that bomber for operation Calypso (taking Frederikshavn) but when it was not possible I found something useful to it.
When Germany attack Netherlands, place INF to recourse hex. TRS, sub and maximum amount of CPs to Caribbean Sea.

Why is that? Are you planning on defending Amsterdam?ORIGINAL: Mayhemizer

I do not think we have enough sea lift to defend both Amsterdam and Rotterdam.
If the INF is placed in Amsterdam it is a small chance that a German unit is lost in the attack. On clear terrain the attack is automatic.
So what am I missing here? [&:]

If turn ends before they get Amsterdam, we get Mil there and they have to attack Amsterdamn before attacking Rotterdam. That would be sweet because Germany has units but no time[:)]

Let's fight in north sea, no additional air. If empty next impulse easy invasion to Rotterdam.

RE: NORDIC CHANNEL: Orm and Mayhemizer
Why not invade now? They have no fleet in the North Sea. The only naval air factor they can get out to the North sea is 1 from the ATR. If we invade from the 2 box then they have to risk their precious ATR against our fighter. And one extra notional factor isn't that bad considering the fine weather. If we can invade Rotterdam we do not even need to attack Amsterdam. Amsterdam can be left for later impulses. Even if CW reinforces.ORIGINAL: Mayhemizer
