I have just sent turn 244 of to Willie. The mud has arrived so not much to report. Around Kiev I have mounted a limited attack / raid. Willie has pulled back and left 5 HQ's in the front line. I gained about 10kms.

AGN. I mounted a limited counter attack to straighten the front line and capture a bridge which I had failed to destroy. The mud is stopped Willie cutting off the forces in the 2 bulges and I am slowly pulling back

Mud, Mud, Mud. I have just got turn 246 (26/10/43) from Willie. It will be another couple of turns before winter and Willie can start to attack. From the map you can see were I am planning my fall back positions should Willie make a break in.

This is an overview of the front. Each yellow arrow is where I think Willie will attack. As can be seen by my lines I believe that Willie will make his main 43-44 Winter attack against AGN.

This AGS. The units here are a lot stronger than in AGN and AGC so I have not yet built any 2nd MLR. This turn I will be able to complete the 2nd MLR and next turn will be able to redirect my reinforcements to AGS. My thinking is that I have been able to stop Willie twice from jumping the Dnepr river and when he does make it across I have a lot of space to trade

Seems you have no problem disengaging from the Soviets.

Actually I had a lot of trouble until I started putting the railroad repair units in the front line and then pulled back everybody and then the RR unit. Works most times and at this stage of the game I do not need the RR units so they are no great loss.
