Sardaukar's 6th (public) GC vs IJ AI (Newbie friendly)

Re: Sardaukar's 6th (public) GC vs IJ AI (Newbie friendly)
- Australia got 3 US squadrons of P-40E. Problem is, pilots are horrible, so they need training. Those will go protecting Darwin, Townsville and Port Moresby (about time to get some fighters)
- there is reinforcement convoy soon to arrive to Sydney with 11th MAG destined to Port Moresby (adding 60 Aviation support) plus USMC squadron of F-4Fs.
- I have evacuated B-17Ds from South Philippines to Australia. They will boost my Naval Search there.
- first fuel convoy from LA to Auckland arrived. Now can start to ship fuel to Sydney.
- extra fuel will be shipped from Cape Town to Perth when I get more tankers to CT.
- shipping fuel from DEI has gotten difficult due to IJN carrier and naval bomber presence.

Re: Sardaukar's 6th (public) GC vs IJ AI (Newbie friendly)
Kind of annoys me that UK's one of the most talented (and slightly unappreciated) general, Bill Slim, had to defend Burma with..these... He got wrath of Churchill for that, who didn't get it how easily that sort of troops fold. Well, Slim lasted longer than Churchill and got to top military spot, so there is that...

Re: Sardaukar's 6th (public) GC vs IJ AI (Newbie friendly)
Doing air evacuation in DEI is very beneficial.
Never forget that you cannot load restricted unit into ships, but you can airlift them to bases with same HQ.
Also, you can do that with flying boats from hexes adjacent to sea.

Re: Sardaukar's 6th (public) GC vs IJ AI (Newbie friendly)
Sorry for the question, but do you run some off map convoys between EC and CT, or is it not needed against the AI?
Re: Sardaukar's 6th (public) GC vs IJ AI (Newbie friendly)
Questions are welcome.BlitzimX wrote: Thu Aug 18, 2022 7:15 pm Sorry for the question, but do you run some off map convoys between EC and CT, or is it not needed against the AI?
Not running off-map convoys from East Coast, not needed yet. But in later 1942, CT might dry up a bit, so maybe going to run some tanker TFs.
Also, could run convoys from EC to Christobal/Balboa (Panama) and then from there to NZ.
