Holy feck!

No SRA (and a Japanese player in this situation won't be getting any of it now anyway), no mainland USA, no nothing except for a few island bases. That would put the Japanese on a defensive footing from 02/43 onward. Short war indeed. Looks like that would be game over at 1/43.[X(]

The attack was bungled. Bananas are not known for brains. (and artifical banana is even more worthless)
I posted a screen shot that showed where to land. (not directly on SF)
When I get back online I run a PBEM game with Nik where I am required to invade the West Coast in the first 90 days. The game will not be meant to go the entire war.
If the Japanese capture SF they win. If they admit they can't the ALlies win.

Hi, While I don't believe in the basic concept of invading the West Coast I'm working out a plan that.

Uses all my normal house rules for turn 1.
Captures oil and resource to sustain the war.
Maintains the isolation of enemy forces in SRA.
In the end results in more damage to enemy then Japan sustains. (However such an operation would if it failed have a major impact on Japans ability to carry on the war ***like that needed to be said*** The object of the invasion is not to capture SF and hold it but to disrupt the early war Allied logistical system and if possible damage or destroy allied production)
Success also requires the extraction of the forces once the operation is complete.

The Banana has a convert!

He will make Mogami general of armies as soon as he breaks out of the closet he's currently locked in....... [:D]

The Banana's plan was FOOLPROOF!!!!! Everyone knows that soldiers fed off a diet of hamburgers are sluggish and sloppy. Imperial troops should not have had any trouble.

Obviously it was someone else's fault!

The History Channel is going to be airing a special on the Battle of San Francisco. New evidence indicates the Banana's plan was sound but outside interference prevented it from being properly executed.

The Program is called "Banana Betrayed" and will air Friday @ 9PM PST.

Now that's an AAR I'm going to look forward to. Who's making book on this one, what's the latest line? [:D]

Banana on HC

Post by mogami »

I don't trust the HC anymore. The last program they had about the Banana said he argued in favor of attacking Coney Island. (But the treasury was too cheap to pay the toll for the Panama Canal)

Next he wanted to drop Paratroops on Denver. (But in the wargames testing that plan they were all killed by gun toting High School kids)

The History Channel just seems to make stuff up. [X(]
