Cowardly allied B17 bombers continue to (try to) hit Palmyra from 36000 feet, higher than the heroic Zero's will fly.[8|] Why they do this is a mistery. They can't hit anything from that altitude.
Meanwhile, my heroic forces at Palmyra await the allied marines[:D]Lots of surprises planned for them.

I wonder if icing is simulated at that altitude. I believe that the reason they did not bomb at those altitudes is because with the wind velocities at that height, (jet stream and all) the Norden bombsight was valueless and they couldn't hit anything. (As proven in this case[:'(]
PS: Bombing at 35 K feet.

maybe he has to use supplies to scramble his planes? and it certainly is better to get experience than sitting around.. next few months are going to be tough around pearl...
And since I still count several strong Jap units below the radar I am a little concerned where they might pop up, They "should" be committed already in Borneo, or my counts could be off???? I really am surprised Rabhaul hasn't been threatened.. or really anything in the solomons.. I would like to see the summer end with at least canton and palmyria rested back, and control of PM and some of the solomans... and no huge loses...
So far so good with my only cry baby cry is my b17's.. terrible loses in those two base overruns. shouldn't happen again. Best spots? lots of damaged ships of all kinds for K in Maly area exceipt for CV's.. I do not remember him taking any hits yet..
"Tanks forward"
