The nastiest brews (RWB, Natty Bo, Schlitz, Berger, for a start) I have ever drunk have all been made in the USA.

Belgians make the best beer in the world.

After the English and Deutch....yes. [;)]

Worst beer makers? the French?
The French make some very good beers.......I fear the answer may be closer to home.

After the English and Deutch....yes.

Guess who they learned how to make beer from? [:)]

They are second and third on my list.

well, i would guess so. i suspect bad beer from other countries is not highly demanded (and thus rarely imported...)

unless you have travelled widely and sampled liberally, you'd miss these, er, delights.

Worst beer i ever tried was a microbrew called "Dogfish Ale", iirc (was definitely Dogfish, although maybe the Ale part is wrong). A friend and i used to get together and watch strange movies, and drink different microbrews. This stuff was VILE. My friend actually poured his out (i've never seen him do that before or since.) I actually gagged on mine. We immediately dubbed it Dogsh!t Ale.

I've had nasty beers from Belgium too. Had some kinda beer brewed with spices. Awful. It was like beer curry.

[:D][:D]

i am pretty sure they put part of a dead Dogfish shark in every bottle of Dogfish Ale. Anyway, it tasted like they did.

Rule # 4170 - never, ever drink any beer with strange additives.....e.g. fruit, spices...shoe leather.......instead just drink beer.

Hmmm - i would have guessed a fish-flavored beer would be just the thing to go along with those herring cakes you prefer.[:'(]

I'm sure you are right about that. My only extensive overseas experience has been in Belgium, where they take their beer most seriously. An area the size of Maryland has some 200 breweries; I have done my best to try them all, an impossible task but I made a valiant effort (I admit that on occasion I may have gotten sidetracked and sampled a particular product repeatedly -- Duvel). There are some things brewed there that may not be to everyone's taste, but they are all of high quality. I suppose you would have to say that something like RWB is also of high quality, but high quality swill is still swill.

Well, I always said ... get of your arse and buy us ... not going to find anyone in Canada who wouldn't sell out for $1 million a piece ... we'll all move to florida andyou can start shooting us [:D]

it's only 30 million x $1 million, petty cash for you ... you could stop picking on Iraq for a day or two to raise the cash [:D]

So, purgatory is in Canada. I always wondered.....

Proof that Europeans came to the Americas long before Columbus, because Dante wrote all about purgatory.

Purgatory relocated to Rochester NY. There, lifetime resididents play Bingo and watch moss grow.

No oil wells.
