You know what they say about Scottish soldiers in kilts (think Carry-On Up The Khyber)? - I wonder if that is true of these young ladies?

This is good stuff too. Geeze, its been thirty three or so years since I first listened to them. I present Jethro Tull. I also had the immense pleasure of watching them play in the Amphitheatre in the ancient city of Ephesus many many years ago.

Excellent - have you heard Rhydian's version of this song? As good as the Queen version is, and it is brilliant, the Welshman's version knocks this into a cocked hat imo.

LOL! Funny you should mention Queen. I was at my brothers house this evening and we played a table top family game sort of like scrabble. I won and reveled in the moment by singing We are the Campions!

Germany's unforgivable crime before the Second World War was her attempt to extricate her economy from the world's trading system and to create her own exchange mechanism which would deny world finance its opportunity to profit.

Cool. Thanks for the Bloody Valentine link. I saw them live at the Barrowlands in 2009. Best show I've ever see even if i couldn't hear properly for nearly a week afterwords.

Currently listening to live albums only: Get Yer Ya-yas out by the Stones, Ike and Tina turner live in 69 and - my favourite album of the last few year - Glitter and Gold by Tom Waits.

RIP Gerry Rafferty:

What I recently "discovered" is a South African band: DIE ANTWOORD, sort of white trash/electro, they sing in their South African language, which is a mixture of Dutch and English with some African influences too. Strange, authentic and original nonetheless. "Die Antwoord" is actually Dutch, meaning "the answer"
The DJ in the vid is a kid suffering from a disease called Progeria, the "girl" in the vid is a mother in her thirties, married with children.

Die antwoord: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cegdR0GiJl4 (enter the Ninja) You might also try "evil boy", which I think is better, strong language and pictures though.
