After that Admiral Mandrake came to his senses, sat down in his beach chair, poured a big Red Solo Cup full of Jameson and 7-up that he sneaked onto the beach in a 7-up bottle and watched everyone else get rescued, of which there were many, probably dozens. Every 10-15 minutes another huge set would arrive and all those new beachgoers who had not seen the previous set would get caught in the washing machine with huge chop and a tremendous backsurge after two or three waves piled up a billion gallons of water on the steep beach. You could see 7-8 human heads sticking out of the foam being carried back out 50 yds in seconds. Nobody drowned, AFAIK, but they really should have closed the beach.

All the troopships at Tanna and Erromango will have to leave because we don't have enough fighters to go around. Have to do something with the BB's there too.


Uggh. Just realized Idaho just arrived last night and drew fuel so she now has zero operation points and will have to either port of stay at sea off Tanna. Think I might send out Trenton and a few DD's from Tanna and try to intercept the KB near the gap in the reef NW of Koumac (if they come that way). Most likely JJ will continue their Zero sweeps over Noumea as it is working so well. They are also being careful to stay 8 hexes away from Level 2 AF's (to avoid SBD strikes)
