Sweden have Austria and Germany at home left after Kazakhstan.

Looks like you are almost there Ormster [:)] Only Austria can spoil the party now. I suspect you have one eye on the possible play-off opponents? Some really tough possibles - defo think the play-offs should be seeded.

The play-offs are seeded. Sweden is rated as number four of the current play-off teams.

Looking good for Tottenham so far. Second place at the moment. [:)]

V. early days. Interesting that Chadli (our own Stewart Downing) was not even on the bench today. I will watch the highlights later and see how Eriksen performed - sounds like he had a good game.

Oh good - Gareth Bale has scored on his Real Madrid debut. Only a tap-in from close-range but that should help take the pressure off him a bit.

It's not a surprise. What is a surprise is that Alex McLeish is apparently 8/1 to be the next manager at Sunderland. I may not particularly follow the Premier League, but I believe the phrase I am looking for is...

I almost posted this in the Australian thread even though she is from Norway. I do hope that most Tottenham supporters can take it with a laugh although I can understand if they are annoyed.

Because she looks like that and because we won 3-0, no harm done. In all seriousness though, it was ill-advised. IF she thinks being a girl will save her from potential thuggery then I suggest she looks at this (from the 1999 Worthington Cup Final). Shocking....

Winning the race to sack their manager is the only thing the Mackems will win this year.

Even after being drubbed by City, we all know United will come out on top. Again.
I have a subtle and cunning plan.

No we don't.... Did you not read Ambrose's 1903 humdinger of a book - Moyes has stinker in first season at United?

I hope he does well - I think he is a decent manager. He needs to strip out the dead wood though. Everyone agrees that United should never have won the title last year - the others, especially City, mucked it up. The proof of that statement seems to be confirmed with the Champions League performances from the English teams.

Ashley Young - to name just one - is simply not good enough for Old Trafford.

A solid win for Tottenham versus Aston Villa. Chadli just scored 3-0. [:)]

To bad he can't score in the Premier League. [:(]

And Defoe just scored his second goal. The Spurs pulverize Aston Villa with 4-0.

I hope he just needs time to settle - he has been pretty rubbish in the first few games.... If he's in your fantasy team I would replace him.

He is in the team but my team has a lot of trouble and I am not sure that Chadli gets first priority to get replaced.
