Please create a new radar, "Radar, FCR, Air-to-Air & Air-to-Surface, Short-Range" I would say.

The NRIET (Nanjing Research Institute of Electronics Technology) KLJ-7 Fire Control Radar, also referred to as Type 1478, employs a mechanically-scanned phased-array antenna.
It has multiple modes, both Beyond Visual Range (BVR) and close-in air-to-air modes, air-to-sea mode, ground surveillance, terrain-avoidance capabilitie and a robust anti-jamming capability, according to Chinese sources. The radar can reportedly manage up to 40 targets, monitor up to 10 of them in Track-While-Scan (TWS) mode and can engage two targets simultaneously at BVR.
The detection range for targets with an RCS of up to 3m² is 75 km in look-up, or 35 km in look-down mode.

Name: "#365" may be renamed "JF-17 Thunder Block 1" while "#3298" would be renamed "JF-17 Thunder Block 2", as they usually are designated by officials during ITW.
Comments: "F-7S" could be dropped, it's probably the Chengdu-Grumman project JF-17/FC-1 originated from and was a very early industrial designation.
Date: No 26 squadron became operational on "#365 JF-17 Thunder Block 1" in May 2010.

- delete "#2506 - Grifo S" (The Grifo S was the radar in the initial development aircraft to qualify the avionics, but the PAF opted for the Chinese KLJ-7 system from the first eight SBP (Small Batch Production) aircraft.)

The F-35 has six external weapon stations with the outmost pair only for A/A weapons. Leaves four pylons for bombs, cruise missiles and fuel tanks.

For example, loadout #3003 of the USN F-35C carries two external fuel tanks and four external JSOWs on four available weapon stations. This can't be correct. A twin-rail configuration of JSOW's would exceed the max. weight of the pylon. I found similar entries for nearly all F-35 platforms.

So should I add an item that says Supreme says we're wrong about loadouts that don't exist yet because the drawing he has says x,y,z.... How much do you want to bet they're there because 12 months ago somebody had a drawing with full pylons saying x..y..z.. Might of even been you[;)]

I'd like to ask that the South African Valour-class FFs (ID #1439) get a minor change to their helicopter facilities. Currently they can hold two small helicopters in the hangar, and the deck can launch one small helicopter. This is fine for the Lynx, but the ship was designed to allow medium-sized helicopters, including the SAAF's Puma/Oryx (which isn't in the database as an SA-specific bird), AW109 LUH (not in database as SA aircraft) and Rooivalk (not in the database at all).

The frigates have one spot for a medium-sized helicopter. The South African Navy accepted four AgustaWestland SuperLynx 300 helicopters for deployment on the Valour Class vessels in February 2008.

Please allow this class - like the Turkish, Greek, Australian and Kiwi MEKO 200s - to operate a medium-sized helicopter.

First Time poster, only found out about Comd via ad on Panzer Corps login... anyway since then I haven't looked at Panzer corps. I've been a long time user of Naval sims starting with Harpoon board game and 3.5 inch floppy on the Amiga 500 back in the 80's. The only reason I bought a computer really.

Anyway reason for post is I've been updating pics off the web for the DB as I've found them missing, which is even more apparent with the upgrade. (So I've only had time for about 4 sessions so far)

I've collected the Islamic Republic of Iran Navy surface and sub surface assets, The P3 family, and a number of smaller civil vessels, plus my country's own ANZAC (Meko)Frigate. I've collected about 100 pics so far. Is there a central location that I can upload these too for inclusion in the DB if they meet any requirements you have?

Really appreciate the DB as I've found how hard it is to get pics that are a. correct and b. useable.

The best way to do when you have a large number of images (such as you do) is to PM me, and we can work out the precise mechanism for getting them added to the image pack. I created a hypothetical SSC based on the LCS. On it I placed the LaWS laser gun prototype. In the DB it says the laser coil shot has an air pH of 90%. However in a test scenario the base ph is 30%. Is this a DB error?
