Germany's unforgivable crime before the Second World War was her attempt to extricate her economy from the world's trading system and to create her own exchange mechanism which would deny world finance its opportunity to profit.

William Shatner's legendary interpretation of Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds. For some reason (probably closet masochism) I always have a strange compulsion to listen to it after I've just played Sgt Pepper's.
What's worse, were it possible, is the irresistable urge that follows to click the link to the almost-as-legendary Leonard Nimoy classic Ballad of Bilbo Baggins. That said, in fairness to Leonard, compared with Shatner he's a vocalist of genius. And the vid does at least have some pretty 60's chicks in it even if their dancing sucks.
I strongly advise not following a link to Shatner's Mr Tambourine Man if you value your sanity.

This thread has not died yet?
No - but why would it? New music comes along all the time and people listen to older music from their collections from time to time.

I NOW PREDICT WHEN THIS TOPIC WILL DIE.....I can think of many reasons this thread should die.
The Sun's Lifespan
Our sun is about 5 billion years old. It is nearly half way through its life. Five billion years from now the sun will run out of hydrogen gas. When that happens the sun will grow about one hundred times bigger than it is right now. And then it will start to become a white dwarf. Our sun will become a glowing hot ember, about the size of Earth. It will eventually cool down.
