I didn't get the job I interviewed for last week. Apparently they changed the job spec after they interviewed me to more closely suit an internal candidate. So that was nice.

That was rather sucky. If they wanted to promote the guy, why didn't they just do that? Is there some law which says that they're required to give the rest of the world a shot at this position before they're allowed to do what they wanted to do in the first place? [&:]

No, it was a private company.

2 hours until my girlfriend gets home from work and I get relieved from baby-duty. 4 hours until faceoff in the hockey game. Soon: beer.

Ok, I can come over and watch the game at your place then? Brit TV shows Swedish hockey? [:'(]

ETA: I'm waiting for the response "As often as Swedish TV shows cricket". [;)]

I watched about two minutes of the "Lingerie Football League" on TV a few weeks ago. I'm sorry, but that is a ridiculous idea... now if they took the pads off, didn't play tackle football and treated the lingerie like the flags in flag football then it might be fun to watch.

People tend to cheer up on fridays . . . maybe she has a short memory and everything will be back to normal tomorrow. Whether that's good or bad thing I don't know.
